Imagine a setting for a break-away, a wedding or special occasion in a valley created by the Maluti Mountains on the one side and the Rooi Mountains on the other side. Cliffs coloured by nature in hues of tan, yellow, brown, black with the late afternoon sun adding that spectacular orange glow on the majestic sandstone rock cliffs and cattle, sheep and horses grazing peacefully in the abundant valley. Oranje Guest Farm is situated between Clarens and Fouriesburg, on the R711. The stately homestead for the guests and renovated sandstone barn for functions were built when the cost of building, time and space were not in consideration and craftsmanship was still a matter of pride.

Fantastic stay - really enjoyed it. It was peaceful and the scenery is breathtaking. Small guest farm with a chapel, rooms, a few chalets and some camping spots. Small but wonderful, wouldn't be the same it were bigger. Stayed in one of the luxury chalets (Laurine). Very neat, clean and well maintained. Really pretty, has everything you need. Close to Clarens which is a must visit. Really is worth the trip.

Oranje Guest farm is an amazing place to stay over. The views from the room are spectacular. Staff service is extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious, clean and modem. Will stay here any day again. Enjoyed staying here and will definitely book here again.

Beautiful place, lovely farm with a relaxed atmosphere. We attended a praise and worship session on 31st December. The braai afterwards was really special. A true family affair. The donkeys were entertaining to watch when the sheep went out and came back to the kraal at night. The children enjoyed the swimming pool and the views are breathtaking
