We arrived at 18:30 and received a warm welcome.
We opted for a very spacious annex room which was at the opposite side of the property past the swimming pool.
The bed was superb with good linen. The room was comfortably appointed with a galley type kitchen.
Service was superb and breakfast was good.
Our sole complaint was that we were told that on site dinner was not available. The host tried to book us in to the Golf Club dining room which was fool so we were booked into another establishment. We later found out that meals were served at Annie's Place - we would have been happy with a bread roll or toast but not given the option.

This is a little gem in the heart of Cradock. Annie is a very gracious hostess who thinks of the little things to make you feel at home, such as rusks and fresh milk for your tea and coffee, fresh flowers, hot water bottles as well as heated blankets on the bed (Cradock can be very cold). The decor through out is very tasteful. Excellent breakfasts are included and Annie will provide a light supper on request. As it was a Sunday night when we visited we asked for supper and had a very tasty chicken and pasta dish with malva pudding to follow, and optional wine. Guests can have the use of the swimming pool and lapa area around the pool. It was too cold to swim when I was there but it was a lovely suntrap area in which to relax.
This guest house is very good value and highly recommended.

After a last minute change in plans and a late arrival, we were amazed at the service from a small town establishment. They offered us a late dinner as all the town eateries had closed. Room was spotless and we received a wonderful breakfast before departure.

Very nice, helpful and lovely staff. We had a really good dinner coordinated extra for us.
The room was cozy and clean! Since we had to leave early we got lunch packs freshly made.
We also loved Annie and the cat.

Came upon Annie's House by chance. Beautiful restored Cradock house. Room beautifully decorated. Choccie on the pillow! All magazines in the room were latest and up to date! Matresses were excellent, and no backache the next morning! Breakfast the following morning was substantial and tasty. Fresh, fresh fruit salad. No tinned fruit here! Highly recommended.

Stayed here with another couple and in the month we spent travelling around Annie's was the only place we stayed that didnt make us think." We must stay here next trip"
Annie a lovely lady, very tidy and clean premises.
We scored a small rom totally seperate from both guesthouses and our friends had a large room in the rear guesthouse but not to far from each other.
Rooms bloody freezing, such small heaters and it was 2 degrees C.
Dinner here, last trip was top shelf and i am sure the locals do love the food we were offerred and its manner of presentation, as we were assured but it , too me was a hodge podge, overcooked, Brekkie the next day wasnt that flash either.
Mayhaps I am being picky, and the food and cold are my only minor beefs, as stated very clean and good quality and I would recommend Annie's to mates.

Annies Guest house is a pleasant BnB to stay at.
Serves is very friendly
All the Rooms are always clean
I stay there yearly and i have never been unhappy with the bnb
My only suggestion for the bnb to be better is to have decent internet connection in every room.

It was like a home away from home. They helped us with all the information and arrangements we needed. And they serve one of the best dinners I have had in a very long time and it is well worth it. The rooms were immaculately clean and very spacious.
