Great location with views of Scalloway bay. Rooms are small and fairly basic, but had everything we needed - comfortable beds, decent tv and wifi, microwave, oven, hob and refrigerator. Free parking next to chalet and laundry facilities available on site (need £1 coins). Overall very good value for money.

We stayed here for 2 weeks for our summer holiday. The chalets are in a great location on the hillside over Scalloway, with a nice view to the harbour. The chalet was clean and perfect for our needs. The early check-in was really appreciated after getting off the overnight ferry from Aberdeen. The location was perfect for exploring Shetland and close to Lerwick for supermarket trips. We would definitely stay here again.

Just what we wanted, 2 bedrooms at a reasonable price. Sarah was lovely- we didn’t have a freezer but suddenly found we needed on for ice packs and it was sorted.
Good base to explore from, only 12 minutes from parking in Lerwick but with a very quiet location and out of the town. WiFi was a bit iffy but enough places to pick up WiFi when we wanted.
Totally recommended.

The chalets were just as described. Small bedrooms and small kitchen but everything we needed for our holiday. Loved the views from the chalet and it was a lovely walk into town. Quiet location. Would definately recommend this accomodation and would stay here again. Easy check in, got a text saying what chalet we were in and what time we could get in, which was ideal for coming off the ferry.

Myself and a friend stayed 5 nights here and we were really happy with our stay. The chalet was clean, comfortable and warm and was everything we could have expected for the price! Great views and great location. Will likely be back again sometime

We stayed here for a week during a trip to Shetland. It was clean and very comfortable. Lovely views over looking the town. We used the laundry services a couple of times. There was an unpleasant smell coming from the fridge but unsure what it was but it didn’t spoil our break. I would recommend staying here.

As a traveler from the United States to Scotland, and with all the further COVID restrictions on travel, I've had to cancel my plans twice to come to Easterhoull Chalets. The owner, Sarah, has been extremely understanding about the situation in these hard times. I was supposed to come in April, and now September, but now I can't come to Scotland until Spring 2021, and the owner is honoring my credit. Extremely flexible and generous. Stay safe stay healthy. Rita

I have stayed here twice as it is a stunning view over the sea to the Scalloway castle.
It is peacefull and the second trip had excellant Internet connection, unlike most other accommodation.

It is very clean which is so good, unlike most accommodation I have used in the past. I booked online which was good for me.

I was working away on the Shetland islands in August 2012 when i stayed over for 1 night at Chalet number 7 of the Easterhoull Chalets.

I have to say these Chalets are very affordable and they everything a solo traveler or family could possibly need.

The chalet had a double bedroom as well as a second bedroom with 2 single beds. A nice living area with open plan kitchen at one end and great views out to Scalloway from the living room window.

I made a bit of a mess of my booking due to the ferry times, however the manager was very helpfull when i called and asked to amend my booking - a very accomodating owner, and i will be staying here on my annual business trip to Shetland again and again!!I never actually got to meet the owners/management due to only being there 1 night.

Is there a hairdryer for guests to use in the Chalets?
Answer from TrekkingTrickers

All the accommodation is on one floor in the chalets but there are steps down to the site about 5-6 as far as I remember and also steps within the site as it is on the side of a hill overlooking Scalloway. Great views though!
