The Sea view makes our place unique, certainly one of the most beautiful in the village. You can even take advantage of it from your bed ! Over our 2000 square meters of land, we are protecting a "bosque seco tropical" . We propose you three private rooms with sea view, and for your meals, a kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, coffeepot, mixer, and kitchen sets. We booked casa baba for 1 night & ended up staying 5! David & Salome are excellent hosts, always going above & beyond to make you happy & comfortable.
The rooms are rustic but beautiful & clean with comfortable bed & mosquito net, private bathroom & INCREDIBLE sunsets from your window! We were also allowed to leave our luggages at Casa for one night during our 2 days visit to Parque Tayrona. Also there's a common kitchen with all the necessary equipment, but David recommended top restaurants in Taganga so we didn't use it at the end :) Tip: Salome makes great handmade bikinis!! Ask her to show you! I'd definitely stay with them again. Lovely couple, lovely spot & great value for money. Thks David & Salome xxx

I stayed three nights but didn't want to leave. The room was medium size, with a big comfortable bed, private bathroom with running water. The hostal is located up a hill, so from every room you get a great view of town and the area, namely you get the best seat in the house for a fraction of the price. It's somewhat isolated from the rest of the hostals so it's nice and quiet. Up on the terrace you can enjoy beautiful sunsets overlooking the ocean. Salome is a great hostess, smart, friendly and eager to help with anything. She is a sweetheart who will make you fall in love with place even more.
Had a wonderful stay and hope to come back soon!

Casa Baba is quite new and the rooms are nice and clean. There is a roof top terrace with a nice view.
We were told that it's quite a safe part of the city eventhough it was a bit of a walk to the beach and it's not directly located at a main street. In the night we took a taxi to be sure.
I would have prefered to have breakfast included. Apart from that we were very happy with our choice.

It’s difficult to find and access. It wasn’t the cleanest place (dusty room, spider webs, etc) and there’s a shared kitchen where you have to rely on your neighbors to clean up after themselves. Maybe we had a bad experience but the others staying at Casa Baba didn’t seem to want to clean up after themselves in the kitchen and we wound up eating out the whole stay. The owner was nice, but difficult to contact at times, and didn’t go out of her way to make us feel welcome and make sure all was okay. But it is cheap and I guess you get what you pay for...

David and Salomè were amazing hosts and this place is perfect for a couple. The location is close to town and has fab views over Taganga. The self catering kitchen has everything you need. The rooms and ensuite are clean, simple and comfortable.

I stayed here during 4 nights when I was in Taganga and I really fell in Love with the place and the genuine hospitality from the owner Salome. The rooms are trendy decorated and the view is one of the best in Taganga. Its also nice and quiet during the nights since it is not located at the beach walk where it often get noicy, still its only a 5 minute walk to the beach! The family who runs the place are very helpful and will make you feel just as at home. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Me and my boyfriend have been traveling for 8 months and this is the best place we've stayed. The location is perfect, because it's a lot more quiet than midtown. But still only takes 5 minutes to the beach. The house is super clean, and I love the interior. The facilities is really good, the kitchen have everything you need. The rooftop is really nice, and it's also two other nice spots to hang out. Salome and Matteo are so welcoming and nice, they will help you with suggestions or if you need anything. I see that many people wrote that the wifi was no to good, for me it was good, better than all the other places I stayed in Colombia. If I go back to Colombia I would definitely go back to casa baba, it feels like a home away from home.

We stayed here for 6 nights while doing a diving course. A week later we came back for another 6 days! It is a lovely little hostel with lovely people running it. The location is perfect - just out of town so you're away from all the noise at night but still only 5-10 mins walk from the beach. The area seemed safe to walk through. All of the hostel's three rooms have beautiful sea views, and there's also a great roof terrace which has to be one of the best places in town for watching the sunset! There is a kitchen you can use; we enjoyed cooking and then eating up on the terrace. Our room was simple but clean, with fan and private bathroom. It's only cold water but you don't need hot in Taganga. The room did get pretty hot during the day, but it cools down enough at night to be able to sleep fine with the fan on. David and Salome were fantastic hosts, so friendly and helpful. One day there was a problem with the gas in the guest kitchen so they let us use their own instead! And they twice took our laundry to get it washed for us. They have 4 gorgeous cats too.
Our only (very minor) complaint was that the room wasn't cleaned that much while we were staying - the first time they changed the sheets on day 3 or 4, but not the second time, and the towels weren't changed at all. We could have asked for that though and I'm sure it would have been fine. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend! And the price is very reasonable at only 80 000 a night (maybe with 10% discount if you stay a while too).

We stayed for four nights. The rooms was big with a bed and a sofa. I liked the decoration, it os a bit like industrial style.

It is locsted five walking minutes from center and usually quiet.

Hosts are great. We had a beer together on the roof top terrace when we arrived. They supported us travelling and gave great recommendetaion in terms of restaurants.

We had a perfect stay at Casa Baba. Good price, nice room with confortable beds, a small kitchen that you can use and the best of all: the small terraces on the roof and above the house. Every night we enjoyed the sun set there. To get to the beach you need around 5 minutes walking.
