We visited from overseas, and the staff was always looking after us. The hotel team helped my family and me to organise my daughter’s baptism in the little local town. The rooms were clean and with a view of the sea. Few stairs to claim up and down, but worth it if you want to have a great view of the bay.

Lovely views, nice staff, lovely pool. However No hot water, don't go near Easter week as local shops blast music at incredible volume all night with no stopping. Service at restaurant/bar was awful waited 40 minutes for a coca cola however chef lady was very nice and food was good when arrived. wind blew all day all night whistling through and under our door dragging dirt under it.

Me and my partner we like to party, but there was insane loud music outside and we couldn’t sleep till 3am. Next day the freaking hammering started at 6:30 am. Maybe a nice hotel but bad spot. Also no hot water and “jacuzzi” was not warm

Staff is wonderfull, friendly and helpful. I felt welcome and safe. The swiming pool and it view is increduble. The food at the restaurant is pretty basic but does the job. The room that we got had an awesome view, but auper noisy over the week end. We had to change room after for one night to make sure we could at least sleep a few hours. Matress needs a little update. Other than that i recomande, it beautiful, close to playa grande beach and Taganga is a little hidden treasure to discover.

A garbage compactor at the entrance of hotel.
Roads similar to a war zone.
Wind sound in the trees will not allow you to sleep the whole night.
Merchants ready to overcharge for their products.
Hotel without hot water.
Definitely no a good place for vacation.
If you find a hotel without a Bible in their night table. You can imagine than no even cult people want to visit there.

My friends and I stayed at Wachakyta in Tayrona. We wanted to stay in the area a bit longer and booked Bahia last minute. The hotel has amazing views, the room was comfy, with an excellent shower, and strong ac. It's on the walking path to Playa Grande. It's a quick 5 min walk to the restaurants. A but loud on the weekends but the ac drowns it out mostly. The pool is amazing too! Overall very happy with our stay!

As a 5 stars hotel traveler chose this hotel as the Hotel looked nice with a nice pool and facilities! Had to change rooms for an extra $80,000 to the new rooms as the old ones are really bad, hot and noise old air-com. Had some friends visiting from medellin and they couldn't event stay by the pool as were not allowed even I was paying 300000 pesos a night! Pool was empty and the aptitude of the receptionist made me walk off! Working for 5 starts hotels never seen that people cannot visit you and have a good time in your hotel! Politicas del hotel??? They need to learn from 5 stars service to improve!!!

Response from Rafael S, Gerente at Bahia Taganga Hotel
Responded 13 Jun 2016
It is a shame for us to hear that you had a bad experience in our hotel. The priority for us is to offer our customers the best experience we can, and as part of that we had to develop strict policies in terms of usage of the common areas of the hotel. Considering the size of the swimming pool and the jacuzzi, and that we have 32 rooms, we only allow our clients to enter these areas. Imagine what would happen if all our customers decided to bring their friends to use our facilities. We do have a restaurant and a social area at reception where our customers can receive their visitors.

Room was nice but expensive for a dorm, and showers were great.

But it's a party hostel which we weren't expecting. Young obnoxious louts partied all night at the pool which the rooms all overlook. Music blaring til 5am and drunk idiots singing and throwing people into the pool all night. We complained at around 2am as did others, but the guy working there did absolutely nothing, almost laughed. We were so glad we only had to stay one night and we left first thing as the trance music starts up again early. Avoid unless ayia napa is your thing.

Espero haberte ayudado
