I can truly say that Su Soi gave us the most wonderful hotel based holiday experience we can remember. A lovely room with an incredible double shower (Room 12 if you have a choice). Tremendous breakfasts with coffee to die for. Restaurant that served the best two meals we ate in Sardinia and a superb pool with jacuzzi set in beautiful peaceful gardens. Presiding over this utopia was Senora Franka and her lovely staff who took customer service to a level not usually found in holiday hotels. Even a kettle was specially purchased after I explained how important a morning cup of tea on the patio would be. We loved every minute of our stay.
We stayed here for 4 nights for a wedding. The main reason for choosing this place was because the wedding reception was being held here and we needed to leave for the airport early the following morning. It is out of the main town so you really need a car. There are about 10 rooms. It is run by a family who are very friendly. The room is in need of updating, but it served the purpose we needed. Shower in the bathroom was terrible and small. The pool area is nice. Breakfast is average, but no European breakfast is good. Parking was easy, right out the front of the room and wifi was free.
This hotel surpassed our expectations in terms of service and food. The good sized rooms are clean and very comfortable, all with their own terrace. In hot weather, you can relax in the large swimming pool situated between the rooms and the main building. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and always available. But their biggest asset is the kitchen. Huge portions of delicious food keeps coming out the kitchen door until you're ready to burst (and then some). The owner Franca was the nicest person ever, she even bought us a wedding cake as we were there on our honeymoon. I highly recommend this hotel if you visit this earea of Sardinia (it's even worth a detour :) )
We were guests at a wedding in a Su Soi. Even though the place itself is amazing the staff including the owner almost seemed not interested in selling their products. Not only the service was very slow during the day, but when asked to purchase a bottle of champagne for the bride and groom I had to speak to 3 different people. Once I had the right person, the maître of the hotel more issues came up. First of all the maître didn't even know what kind of champagne/sparkling wine they had, which I found bizarre considering he should settle an example of customer service to his staff, also while helping me he told of other waiters in front of me which I found very disrespectful. Finally I chose the bottle (the only one available), happy with the price, they didn't have change for me because they didn't have the key of the cashier, including the owner (obviously paying with cards is not available). I had to ask other guests to exchange notes for me otherwise they wouldn't be able to find my change. I actually felt like I was begging them to take my money and to sell me the bottle! Why does it have to be so hard to order something? I know we are in Italy and everybody takes it easy, but hey! Do you want to sell and make money?! Pity, such a beautiful place, if only they took care of it and hired more qualified people, it could potentially be the best location for holidays and weddings in the Oristano area. Don't expect an amazing service.…
We stayed here for two nights by the end of May 2012. It is a motel style hotel and the car can be parked at the rear near the front door of the room. At the other side there is a garden entrance with a small terrace in front of each room. The rooms are fine, WiFi is free and works without any problems. The swimming pool is not as big as it looks like on the pictures, but nevertheless quite OK. The restaurant served a very good dinner and breakfast as well.
