This is our ninth visit to Nidri we stayed for a week at the Lefko Hotel last week and I was disappointed generally with it. It seems very few British stay there, as mainly it caters for the other European countries. Firstly the room we were in was at the back although Cosmos had requested us a better room because of problems we had had with them. Obviously their request fell on deaf ears or they only whispered the request. The room was quite small and we only had four small drawers, a small built in wardrobe with six coat hangers and no cupboard space, so most of our clothes stayed in the case till we needed them. Our view from the balcony was of a dirt car park with bricks to level the holes in it. Just below out balcony was an old broken chair, a load of litter and a tin roof…
Myself and my Husband have just returned from this hotel. Its in the perfect location for access to the Beach, Taverns, Bars etc and Nidri is a lovely places with a beautiful harbour and great atmosphere about it. The hotel on the other hand was the nosiest hotel I think I have ever stayed in, slamming doors all-day and night, scrapping furniture across the floors, the cleaners at a ridiculous time in the morning dropping mops and making a general racket also we had a waste pipe coming through our cupboard !! The hotel is very clean and and regular change of sheets and towels. We had a lovely big balcony over looking over the pool area with a mountain view. The rooms are slightly dated, the bathrooms are tiny and shower is so small with a horrible smelly shower curtain. The rest…
Location is great. I think this a is good hotel for families. I stayed with my husband and we would have enjoyed more peaceful and more luxury hotel. Breakfast was ok. The woman/women who took care of cleaning rooms was pretty noicy and worked slowly.
This was our second visit to Nidri and the Lefko Hotel, as we enjoyed the area and Hotel so much on our previous stay. We had a top floor room facing the pool, the room had been totally refurbished and A/C was free of charge. The only critisism is that the shower was rather small as mentioned by other reviewers. As experienced on our first visit the Hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff and owners as friendly as before, once again a mention for Tim the barman, oh those ice cold Beers! Suggestions made by previous reviewers last year about the breakfasts have been acted on whilst, the breakfast is still basic there is more variety with the addition of fresh fruit, yogurt and a toaster. We hired a quad bike for five days, very reasonable rates. It's a great way to see the…
it's wonderful. We stayed here last year. Although our room was clean it was a little tired. We didn't let that put us off and chose this hotel over others available because of its location and relaxed feel. On our arrival this year I had concerns that we would be in a room over the bar. We are in a room on the second floor directly over the bar. And, you wouldn't know the bar is there. Our room is clean and airy, the whole hotel has the feel of an out of season facelift. We have double glazed doors to the balcony and air con free in the room. Definitely booking for a third year when we get back home. Same room please.
