We love this hotel. Excellent staff, plentiful breakfasts and good value lunches. Everything is spotlessly clean and the rooms are really comfortable. Ideal location with just a short walk to the boats and the restaurants. We have been to the Athos before, and will definitely return soon.

Stayed at Athos for 8 nights, rooms are really basic could do with a little colour just to brighten them up although seemed to be freshly decorated. Personally didn’t like the shower curtain, think a screen would be better. Having said that, breakfast was fine, great location to bars, restaurants and shops with stunning views and pool area was lovely and overall a very clean hotel . Staff friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely stay.

This is a pleasant, clean hotel in a great location on the waterfront. The pool is lovely and we never had any problems getting a sunbed. I had emailed to ask for a top floor room on the left hand side and we had room 222 on the end. There's plenty of wardrobe space, the beds were comfy and the air-con was included. The shower was typically Greek - small with a shower curtain which annoyingly sticks to you. The bathroom was not great really but the hot water was plentiful. The breakfast was okay but a bit monotonous for two weeks as there was never any variation of choice. It would have been good to maybe have some pastries or something offered a few days a week. The staff were friendly but there was never a price list for drinks so we didn't bother much. However, the hotel is only a two star so good value and a nice place to stay. …

Currently at Athos Hotel and I cannot fault it, the staff are friendly and the hotel is in the perfect location at the sea front and harbour , breakfast looking out over the pool and sea, the reason I rate so high is this is advertised as a 2 star hotel and I think should be classed higher, stayed in Rhodes 2 weeks ago at a 4 star hotel and the experience was horrendous, this hotel is 100% better. The pool is large and the jacuzzi is perfect to relax, a few metres down the road you can jump on one of the ferries to do a trip around other islands, and the resteraunts and bars nearby are in abundance. Would definatley reccomend and will be back.

After an enjoyable afternoon using the bar pool and jacuzzi, my friend on leaving an myself on returning to meet my wife were accused of turning the Jacuzzi into a milky pond. The barman was quite aggressive and was in no mood to listen. As we were not the first and by no means the last to leave the Jacuzzi I have no idea why he picked on us. One of our party said that it was milky already but it was on and I couldn't tell when I got in it. An otherwise nice afternoon spoilt unfortunately.

We’ve returned to this hotel over many years and have never been disappointed. It may only have a 2 star rating but in reality it delivers far more than other hotels with far higher ratings Essentially it provides everything it says on the tin - with a smile! The rooms are pleasant and bright with efficient AC; the shower rooms are small but with lots of hot water and very good water pressure; the rooms are spotlessly clean with linen changed regularly. And the staff are, without exception, super! There’s also a big pool and a lively cocktail bar in the grounds This end of town has improved a lot over the years we’ve been coming here - and is now the “classier” part of Nidri. We hope we”ll be able to return for years to come!

We had a lovely stay at this family run hotel. A fabulous swimming pool, great Tree bar at the back of the pool and right on the marina with a very short walk to all the tavernas and bars on the street and behind the on the sea front. We were always late down to breakfast but it was fine as a buffet with cereals, yoghurt with honey, toast, cheese, ham, mini sausages and an egg here and there if you were lucky ;-). We had brunch a couple of times which was also fine. The rooms were kept very clean and were comfortable. Admittedly it is a bit tired in places i.e. the loo roll holder was hanging off the wall, the wardrobe lock kept falling off and the mosquito net didn't come down, but overall it did the job. It's Greece and 3 stars after all. Take a trip up to the waterfalls, about an hour's walk and the ferry over to Meganissi should not be missed. There are two beaches and restaurants on the front. We didn't do the steps up to the town, too steep for my knees. There is also a bus that will take you to other spots the island. We would recommend this hotel, the owners are very hospitable and nothing is too much trouble, not that we had any complaints. Nicholas in the Tree is nice and chatty, but with a bit too much of a love for metal music for my liking lol. Try the Bikini bar two doors away and sit on front looking out on the marina a very "shirley valentine" moment. We had a fabulous stay and would return.…

Very relaxed atmosphere at this hotel. Rooms nicely decorated and very clean. The beds complete with mattress topper are very comfortable. The breakfast has a wide variety of foods to suit everyone’s taste. My only teeny critique would be be please some pre sliced bread for those of us who like toast. Coffee very nice along with juices. My room 249 has a view across the swimming pool and to harbour. It’s a very peaceful location within a few mins walk to bars, restaurants, bakery, supermarket. The staff here are extremely helpful and very pleasant. My only advice to people is if you want 5 ⭐️ then look towards paying £100 + per night. But for me this hotel suited all my needs, which are very simple. Thank you to owner, manager and the team. I will be returning to Nidri and will definitely book the Argos. ⭐️ …

Stayed at the Athos hotel June 2022 small but perfect location and view from sea facing balcony just WOW . Shower small and curtain sticks to you. Bed got a little uncomfortable midway through but didn't spoil our holiday. Meganissi definitely worth a visit go as a foot passenger. The walk up to the village is tough in the heat but the views are well worth it. Staff absolutely lovely would definitely return.
