Just spent the first 2 weeks of July at the Palmyra. Myself and my 16 year old daughter visited 9 years ago and it is still as good as ever. The rooms were well equipped, cleaners in every day to make beds and empty bins with towel changes and cleaning done regularly throughout stay. The pool area was lovely, always enough sun beds and umbrellas (new ones arrived during our stay as well). The bar served drinks and a variety of food which was tasty and reasonably priced. If staying at the hotel you also get free sun beds and umbrellas on the beach as well as waiter service there. Every Friday the hotel hosts a bbq night which we went to both weeks, all you can eat and entertainment from Greek dancers, great fun and even joined in. The location is spot on as just have to walk

Just returned from another great holiday at Palmyra, the "must go to" hotel in Nidri. An oasis of calm amid amid the hustle and bustle of the town. Set off the main road within it's own gardens complete with a large pool and decking and a large lawn and ample good quality sunbeds (New beds were delivered last week) the hotel is only five minutes away from the centre of town and the busy port where there is a large selection of bars.cafes and restaraunts catering to all tastes. For those who prefer to sit on the beach which is a minute away the hotel has provided free sunbeds and umbrellas for their guests. Accommodation at the Palmyra is in various sized rooms, all of which are kept spotlessly clean with frequently changed towels and bed linen. The bathrooms have a shower

Stayed for 5 nights at this hotel. First stayed in a villa for 3 nights and then 2 nights in a room in the main hotel. Villa is really spacious and has its own kitchen facilities. Very reasonably priced too. Inside the main hotel the room was still quite big and also had cooking facilities which I’ve never seen at a hotel before. Pool area is nice and there is also beach access, there are beach chairs owned by the hotel you can use. Savvas the owner and his wife are lovely, in fact all staff are very nice and friendly. There is a happy hour between 7-9 pm where cocktails are only 5 euro, highly recommend getting a drink then. Location is also great, right in the heart of Nydri near everything. Very impressed for a 3 star hotel, will be back.

We stayed at the Palmyra last week and used it as a base for touring Lefkas. The hotel is kept very clean around the pool area and the rooms are also of a good standard and cleaned regularly, along with towel changes. We mainly ate out of the hotel as we like to try different restaurants, but had a couple of meals there and the food was excellent. The hotel has a nice relaxed feel to the place and was nice to come back to after a day out. The location is very good, close to the beach and the bars, shops and restaurants are only a 5 min walk away. Recommend hiring a speedboat for the day and going around the islands close by and getting a scooter or car and touring the full island, the beaches on the west coast are stunning. I would highly recommend the Palmyra for your stay on

We love this hotel! Stayed week commencing 30/6/2018 for our 3rd year. We are a mid 40's couple (no kids) who want a good base with great facilities in case we decide not to go out for the evening. Savvas & Viki are excellent hosts with great help from new bar man Marco. There are plenty of food and drinks choices at reasonable prices in the hotel and if you need help or advice about anything you only need to ask. The hotel is situated at a perfect distance from the harbour to be quiet but is also accessible. For example you can walk to the beach in two minutes. The harbour is a 5-10 minute walk which is ideal to stretch your legs and Nidri is pretty flat so no need to worry about getting up hills! We would highly recommend this hotel if you want a great value, clean and tidy
