Savaas and vicki are great hosts, very friendly. The location is on a quiet road away from the main road. This was our second visit, we hoped for a pool side room but these are all reserved by others. Self catering isn’t really possible as there’s only one pan, however there are plenty of greatvyavernas nearby and a bar downstairs. Breakfast is not worth the 7 euros charged, often there is no warm ham left and the eggs are very hard and over cooked. The continental part is very limited. I think they could do so much better with this, it’s a big let down. There are nobtavernas nearby which do a good breakfast unless you walk right down to the harbour each morning. The pool is perfectly clean with really nice gardens, plenty of parking nearby. Lefkada as an island is

I write this review knowing that I put myself in danger of not getting a booking in the future because the Palmyra is such a jewel of a hotel! I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough... I've stayed there 4 times now, and each time has been excellent... Savvas and his staff make sure everyone is well catered for, remembers everyone's name and are just plain hospitable - to make sure you have a good time while staying there and to take good memories away with you. The rooms are clean and comfortable, as are the public areas, and the pool is always sparklingly clean, unlike some in supposedly 'better' hotels in Nydri! It's a shame we can only award 5 stars as a rating, Savvas and the Palmyra deserve more!!!

So we pulled up here after travelling round Greece for our holidays. Initially, once we arrived we thought the place looked nice, the pool area looked nice and had a chilled out atmosphere. Then things went a bit downhill... Once in the room we noticed how small it was, very adequately furnished and generally speaking, very tired (stains on the bedsheets etc). As it is only a 3* we just thought this was the norm, as we normally stay in Greek apartments. Later that night we went to wash and noticed the shower door opens both ways so you have to wedge it yourself the middle (see pictures) we also found the hot water was inconsistent, it seems to go cold and hot intermittently, odd... there were also ants on the floor but, again, we thought maybe this was normal for a Greek 3*.

Just stayed at the Palmyra for two weeks with my family. Savvas, Vicky and Marco went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. The rooms are clean. The pool is clean and surrounding area comfortable and relaxing. No early mornings reserving sun beds were needed as plenty available. In a quiet location but on the doorstep of many restaurants, bars and shops. 50 metres from the beach which really beautiful and free sun beds for Palmyra guests. Food really nice TOO. Would recommend the classic club sandwich and parmesan fries! Thank you Savvas, Vicky and Marco for making our stay a great one!
