From arrival till departure we received excellent service. The lodge, and the facilities were perfect. We enjoyed lovely views and peaceful surroundings. The cute doggies are a bonus for animal lovers. The host made a dinner booking on our behalf in town and the restaurant she chose did not disappoint.

We turned up at Katharinas with quite short notice, but she was very welcoming, reccommended and booked somewhere for an evening meal and supplied a fabulous breakfast in the morning. The rooms are very comfortable and decorated very well, the bed is comfortable and the choice of pillows excellent. The views from the room are fabulous, out over the mountains and Betties Bay. Would not hesitate to stay here againand would reccommend for everyone. Thanks Katharina, you are one in a million :-)

The facility is located adjacent a nature conservation area with views up and down the valley surrounded by the Fynbosch (Native Heath) The hotel was quiet with large rooms and knowledgeable staff . Liked especially tips on meal opportunities and local attractions.

We stayed for a couple of nights. We were given a very warm welcome by Katharina and her staff. They were very helpful, particularly as my wife is afraid of dogs - and they have five, which was no problem in the end! The rooms were fine and the food first-class, the setting of the guesthouse is beautiful, and perfect for Kleinmond and Betty's Bay, as well as Pringle Bay. Katharina was able to recommend and book us in at a very good local restaurant. All in all an excellent stay!

We stayed 7 nights and traveled and explored all towns and places nearby, e.g. 5 minutes to Pringle Bay and 5 minutes to Betties Bay, also Gordons Bay, Kleinmond and Hermanus, etc... Kapensis is very accessible and we had been looking forward to go back to our room with the very luxurious bed, shower and double basins after each day. The view through the large glass doors to Betties Bay was stunning. All are very clean with cleaning services every day. If you need anything, your request is being attending to. Breakfast every morning was also very special - you can eat everything on the menu and ask for more.. Was very special, thank you.
