I initially chose Suntouched because it was pet friendly. I am very glad that I did. Theunie was very friendly and very helpful and I think that Suntouched is the place to stay in Napier. It's also a place that is very popular with the locals and William (my Ridgeback), felt very comfortable.

Unplanned detour. Staff were efficient and helpful and got me booked in in no time at all. They even prepared the vegan meal I requested. Loved the room and the overall atmosphere of the lodge. Will definitely visit again.

My husband and I visit the Suntouched Inn every time we are in Napier - I insist on it! It's such a fab bar with a cool vibe and even if we just have a couple of drinks while were waiting for their pizzas, it's a place I just love for some reason. Although it's definitely not fancy, the bar has such a warm atmosphere - there are never too many people there so you can always get a seat, but there are enough people to make it fun. The pool table is always in use and people are constantly arriving for their pizza, which is delicious. This year, we only visited twice - once to get a pizza and once for a pre dinner night out, though you can eat in. We've only ever had pizza and drinks at the Suntouched Inn, but they've always been great and the service is laid back but very good. I was chatting to the owner/ manager while my hubby and brother in law played and she introduced me to some family friends from England. I didn't feel uncomfortable sitting alone at all and the whole place is welcoming. If you went in on your own, but wanted a chat, you would get it. They do also have a restaurant and accommodation but we have never used either. The Suntouched Inn is a quirky bar, but definitely worth visiting.…

Such a restful place, Friendly people and excellent pizza. The accommodation was neat, clean and just what we needed. Everything you need is there. The atmosphere was fun for individuals and for families. I'm sure to be back again.

only thing we were not told to take our room key with us and we got lock out a few times if it was not for the other person staying there we would have been lock out..Other than that it was a very nice stay.
