The positive is that the room was very spacious. Unfortunately that's about where it ended. We were amazed to be told there was no key to the room ("lost long ago") and indeed, even the back door was not locked any time we came in. In a country with a crime rate so astronomically high, this seems like sheer negligence. We were only in town for a one- night stopover, so we let it pass. Everything was tired and dated, a kind of boho-meets-70s feel, somewhat depressing. There must be better options.
Pequeña población situada en Napier, importante zona agrícola y antaño minera. Es un pueblo muy tranquilo para pasear por sus calles y alrededores. El dueño del lodge y restaurante de lo más amable que vimos por la zona.
We spent 2 nights with our very friendly and helpful hosts in an big, clean room with an en suite shower, wash basin and toilet. Will return there any time! Super view from stoep on neat plots with horses and sheep
