My family has just spent a week at The Drift Farm and never in our wildest dreams would we have imagined how peaceful the surroundings would be and if that wasn't enough the accommodation was 5 star luxury. This farm house has everything you could want for a large family gathering as it can house 14 adults and kids. There is an enormous pool and huge wrap around verandah. Enock and Andrew the two 'butlers' are there to look after your every whim, to clean and wash up and to provide farm fresh eggs and butter. A farm shop sells a fantastic range of wines all made by or in collaboration with the owner of the farm Bruce Jack. We will definitely be back to this absolute gem, especially when the city gets too much and we need to recharge out batteries with much needed country peace and tranquility.

One of our favorite places we visited on our 3 week trip to South Africa.
Gorgeously decorated and well equipped self catering spacious accommodation on a wine farm. It was peaceful and beautiful.
This is where I want to stay every single time I visit Cape Town. Our butler arranged for our laundry, lit fires, cleaned the kitchen after ever meal and more. He took the kids to gather eggs from the chickens and I am afraid the chickens might never lay eggs again after all the excited yelling from the kids 😬
Absolutely loved our stay here, even a music room with a piano where my talented 16 year old nephew played for us. The younger kids were entertained playing table tennis and pool in the " barn". Kids and adults had so much fun playing bull with the provided equipment.
Four wheelers were provided for us to venture out by the vineyards to enjoy a sundowner.
