Stayed for a week with family. The lodge was in pristine condition, and was far nicer than what we had expected. The management staff were so friendly and helpful. It's in a beautiful rural setting and has a great walk two minuets from the house. There are a number of small towns nearby and such amazing countryside. We will absolutely be staying here again.

House No.3 is not suitable for guests, especially durring covid when cleanliness is essential. The house is spacious and well laid out but the furniture is very worn and grubby. We stayed as a group of 6 for 2 nights. We had no wifi even though we contacted the property manager a number of times as there is also no phone reception in such a remote location. One shower in the en suite between 6 adults wasn't ideal and the bath in the main bathroom didn't have a shower head. The bed was so old that it sloped into the middle and had stains on it. I contacted the manager the second day and she told me she lived 1.5hours away so couldnt do anything about changing the mattress except that I could move into house no.4 instead for the night. When I explained that the rest of my party were unable to move she told me to go in to house no.4, get a different mattress and change it myself! As a paying guest I obviously wasnt going to do that so she then offered an €80 discount off the already expensive cost of €588 for 2 nights. I accepted the €80 and had to sleep on the couch the second night. Overall would not recommend anyone to stay here even though the setting is lovely

We stood in the one of the houses and it was very beautiful. There was a large amount of big bugs but that wasn’t too upsetting considering the location. When we first arrived we were unable to find the WiFi password so we called and they claimed there was no WiFi yet we could see it showing up on our devices. The first 2 days we did not have any warm water and were unable to fix it. The 3rd day our electricity went out and we were unable to get ahold of anyone to come and fix the problem. We waited 6 hours before someone useful would return my calls and fix the issue. It wasn’t until the power was brought back on that we finally had warm water. Although it was a very pretty location, we honestly had a terrible experience and I wouldn’t recommend it to friends.

Stayed here recently for a w-end away, without doubt the nicest self catering accommodation I have ever stayed in. The house was decorated and furnished to a really high standard. So comfortable and cosy in a beautiful setting with amazing views. Very good location for visiting clonbur, cong and Ashford castle. I will most definitely be back!
