Nestled between Lough Corrib & Lough Mask in Connemara, an area renowned for its rugged beauty & unforgettable scenery. Our family has been welcoming visitors to Connemara for over half a century now. Fishermen, ramblers, cyclists and visitors from all over the world just love the laid-back atmosphere here. Our 20 en-suite bedrooms are large & comfortable & our food is superb. We are told we serve some the best Chowder, Seafood and Steaks in Connemara, not to mention the lively music and craic we serve in our bar.New to Fairhill House Hotel is our membership with the Irish Whiskey Trail. We now have 150 different whiskies on offer, including the first malt produced in Kentucky since 1919, Pearse Lyons whiskey... distilled by an Irishman of course! It is without a doubt one of the largest selections in the West of Ireland.

2 night stay recently in Fairhill House. Must say, very pleased with the experience. All 3 of us appreciated all that the staff did for us. The brown bread with breakfast was delicious. A big thanks to the chef. All the staff were friendly and welcoming to us including our dog! Frank and Gerry at reception were full of local knowledge. Will definitely return. Would have given 5 out of 5 but the disability room shower was not accessible for our friend. This was explained before we booked and we knew before we arrived, so we couldn't fault them for that and he had a wonderful two days in Fairhill House. Thanks to all.

Highly recommend a stop here. Great food. Wonderful service and very friendly staff. We walked from Cong to Clonbur and stopped here for lunch before the return leg. A fabulous home made burger, the nicest we've had in a very long time, home made chips which were delicious and a gorgeous blue cheese and pear salad. Couldn't recommend highly enough. We will definitely be back.

Top class services rooms clean, staff friendly, food outstanding and very good overall value for money. Staff couldn't do enough special touch to have the chef walk the floor at the end of service the menu is well designed something for all tastes and styles. Hotel strict on all covid restrictions to keep staff and guests safe. Will be back for sure

2nd time to stay here, 2 nights B&B, allocated a lovely room with balcony with great views. Whilst there was a lot of positives to our stay like the lovely food including great breakfast and location I felt it wasn't as enjoyable as our previous stay due to the attitude of the staff. The bar staff are not very friendly and one barman in particular is downright abrupt even borderline rude. I am sure the owner is well aware by now of this as he is usually hovering in the background.
