They’re are pros and cons for this place my friends so I’ll start with the pros Pros Beautiful location facing the river Beautiful beach Nice restaurants Friendly people minus a few Cons Very rude owner off the resort Rooms are extremely small Beds are like rocks ….. I’ve slept on the floor more comfortable then those beds No proper ac …. Had too take a screen out too put the hose outside off the window for proper cooling ….. and then it left out room insecure People came and sat directly in front off our room so had too keep the curtains closed for privacy And the curtains are from the 1950’s …… If you like hard beds small places and rude owners this place is for you ….. My advice is too find a more comfortable place too stay I’m still tired from our trip because off lack off sleep and we even tried too get a refund too go somewhere else and she said no ….. so that’s my honest opinion my friends

The first point to make here is just how rude and unprofessional the owners here are. We stayed here for 4 nights and the owners Ken & Charlene Reinhart are very difficult to deal with. The place that we rented was a dump. Easily the worst accommodation we have seen. Dirty, smelly and flat out disgusting. The bathroom is smaller than bathrooms in campers. The water to shower and wash with is a brownish colour and smells terrible. We found several big spiders in the room, both dead and alive. The barbecue grill on our porch was old and disgusting. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a while. The place is really in bad shape. The rental of our room also is supposed to include "unlimited" use of non motorized equipment but they make it very hard so difficult to enjoy and to utilize. They clearly give priority to people coming in from the street (public rentals) because that generates more money for them since they already have my money. They have so many rules and policies, limits and stipulations on everything that it becomes very frustrating. At one point I thought I was in the Military again with all of the rules. The life jackets stink. There are time limits on everything and each time they overtly threaten each guest with charging their credit card if they return late. No tact at all in the way they talk to you so that everyone around can hear, especially Charlene. Every time we went down there she was yelling at someone or scolding someone. The day before we were ready to leave we came down and I asked Charlene if we could get a jet ski for a few hours and Charlene started to scold me that it was extra and wasn't included in our package and that it's very clear in the agreement I signed.... The manner in which she did this was rude, loud and VERY disrespectful. I had my credit card on file with them and fully intended to pay for the 2 hours and knew that it was extra. She went on this rave and never asked me. There's something very wrong with this lady to say the least. My Wife got so upset with this ladies demeanor that she walked away. This was a terrible experience and we will never return. It was a complete waste of money. The way that this place is managed is so pathetic.

Clean but dated small riverfront hotel with basic features with rates appropriate to the location (not the rooms themselves). Rooms overlook a boat dock, separated only by a public walkway, which can be noisy and impact privacy. Owner was friendly & welcoming.

This is a beach and river destination so it is always booked. They don't have to try very hard to get people to stay. We found it clean but outdated. Management were nice. The location is beautiful with lots of water sports and very close to the beach. We found it very expensive for the quality of the accomodations
