Recently I was desperately looking to get away for just one or two nights and remembered going past the well maintained Centennial Motel so it was the first place I called. I was thrilled when they said they had availability!! This was my first visit to the Centennial Motel but most definately NOT my last! I was offered a second floor one queen bed room, which was generous in size, was air conditioned, had a small dining table with two chairs, a large bar fridge, cable tv and wi-fi. Although there is no cooking permitted in the room, there are two microwaves just outside the office, on the main floor. If you require ice, you can bring your ice bucket to the office and they will fill it for you. In addition to a great room, the property has a grassy area with loungers/chairs, picnic tables (with umbrellas) and bbq's (with bbq utensils), a small in-ground swimming pool , a hottub and a chiminea. This is the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee, a meal or just catch some rays. The location is perfect! You are two minutes to a grocery store, a convenience store and the main shopping area. Since there is no coffee maker in the room, you can grab a pretty decent coffee at the convenience store or, just around the corner, you will find Amici's and one or two blocks further, you will find Two Chick's Cafe. Saving the best for last ... you are just a short five minute walk to the best beach and sunsets in Canada!

I am not one who would normally ever stay in a motel. But by the time we decided we were making the trip, there was very limited availability anywhere so we booked at the Centennial Motel. Let me tell you, although the rooms are slightly dated, it didn’t matter because the place was absolutely spotless, the owners are the most amazing, the amenities are perfect, the beds are probably some of the comfiest I have slept in, and it’s soooooo close to the beach! Honestly, my husband and I were travelling with our 10 yr old and our 7 month old and it was more than enough space for what we needed. I know I already said it but it needs to be said again, the owners are absolutely the sweetest people you could ever meet, they made you feel so welcome, even offering suggestions on the best places to take the kids. All in all a wonderful place. We will definitely be returning:)

The owners are very very kind, the rooms are clean, some would say outdated but to me gave off good 80s nostalgia. however, should have done better dealing with the troublesome clients who were making a ton of noise in the early morning hours. My family and I could not sleep. The fire alarm went off twice before they had no choice but to do something which was evacuate all patrons at 2:30 AM. Everyone was outside in their pajamas waiting for the fire department to arrive. Owner clearly knew who the culprits were who broke the rules for smoking and should have evicted them on the spot. but instead let them back in for the night informing us that they'd be gone the next morning. Very disappointing. Great hospitality, unfortunately shameful experience and overly priced.

A group of 10 of us stayed here over the Canada Day 150 weekend in 5 rooms. The weather was very rainy so we spent a lot of time at the motel which was perfect. There's a heated pool and hot tub which was amazing with the cold weather. There's a fire pit as well, we had to get our own firewood but that wasn't a problem. The owners are great, very accommodating and friendly! For a bunch of rowdy 30 year olds, they didn't mind the late nights and being out in the back the whole time. There are BBQs on site which we used quite a bit. They also have fresh coffee in the tea every morning. It's a 2 min walk to the main beach, LCBO, grocery store and a Mac's milk right next door. There is also free wifi and the rooms were cleaned daily. We will definitely be back! thanks again for the hospitality :)
