Had a 2 night stay at The White House whilst visiting Bletchley and Woburn. Mike and Sue made us so welcome. We had a room upstairs which was comfortable, clean and quiet. Lovely little dining room with beautiful cooked breakfast. Would definitely recommend staying here if visiting the area
We’ve just returned home after a weekend at the lovely White House. We were visiting family in Milton Keynes and decided to book here instead of one of the chain hotels in MK and how glad we did. We were welcomed by Mike who helped us in with our luggage and showed us our room. He then asked what time we would like breakfast and took our order for the following morning. Our room was a homely twin at the front, which overlooked the lovely village street, but was extremely quiet and peaceful. It was very clean with a comfortable bed and pillows. Coffee, tea, biscuits and fresh milk left in a flask were provided. The en suite was on the small side but adequate. There was a separate shower cubicle which was fine for me but my husband who is 6ft 2 had to bend under the shower head. This didn’t worry him however. Breakfast was delicious. Cereals, yoghurt, fruit on offer as well as fresh orange, coffee and tea. The cooked breakfast consisted of bacon, sausage, eggs, tomato , mushrooms. You could also have hash brown, fried bread and beans. We had a chat with Mike after we’d eaten and he asked us what time we would like breakfast the following morning and what cooked food we wanted. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it highly. It was so nice to stay in a quiet village away from the concrete and impersonal hotels of MK. We are definitely going to return here the next time we are up visiting family. Thankyou Sue and Mike…
Absolutely lovely bed & breakfast accommodation. Sue & Mike were extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Room was spotless and offered excellent facilities including many 'nice to have' touches. Breakfast was lovely. Would definitely visit again when in the area. Highly recommended.
Pretty house in walking distance to a pub.Room was spacious, light and well planned with comfortable bed, and tea/coffee facilities. Welcoming and helpful hosts. Delicious breakfast and lovely little touches
Just spent 2 nights here with friends. What a welcome from Mike and Sue! We were offered a cup of tea and a generous slice of cake in their lovely huge garden for starters. We chose the twin bedded room and the room was a generous size which had everything you needed and more,it overlooked the front and it was so peaceful at night. We slept very well. After a huge well presented full english we were told about things we could do,places to eat and places of interest nearby. Mike and Sue were brilliant hosts and we say if you want that personal homely attention without asking then look no further. We highly recommend this Beautiful B&B and would love to stay there again soon.
