Rooms were very spacious compared to the usual french shoebox, the mezzanine level with 2 seperate bedrooms was great, and the balcony overlooked the chairlift and the bottom of the run. Nice pizzeria downstairs, and although the centre of town was a short walk away the supermarkets spit roast chicken and potato gratin was delicious. Friendly but cautious neighbourhood cats appeared everyday on our balcony, (encouraged by my feeding) they were eventually befriended, although quite how they got up to out room on the fourth floor remains a mystery to me! Great base for a snowbaording / ski holiday, runs were wide and spacious and there was plenty of choice to keep you amused for a week. All in all i would recommend the Charmettoger to anyone looking for a no frills place to stay, within easy reach of the slopes.

Maeva les aiguilles du pin 3 tout est cassé, vandalisé, une heure pour réussir à entrer dans le bâtiment le soir car rien ne marche, les ascenseurs, la lumière , les poignées de porte , des jeunes saoul dans le hall la nuit, des jeunes saoul partout d'ailleurs, une station sale, une neige le matin jaunie par l'urine. une horreur plus jamais les arcs 1800

We stayed in a seven appartment with just 4 of us, which gave us ample room. The rooms are very dirty and stains every where. There was no shower curtain or hook for the shower so you had to sit in the bath and try to avoid soaking the place. The location was perfect close to the lifts but value for money? I don't think so it was rated a 3 star whic it barely scrapping a 2 star. There was no microwave, which is a bit annoying having to turn the cooker on all the time to heat up water for a cuppa or something quick to eat. The check in was the worst of all, no check in until 5pm !!!! so after a long trip to get there you still have to wait around for a few hours. The staff are very helpfull to the point, it takes you more than an hour to be told that your room won't be ready till 5pm as they are too busy chatting to others.
If your a bunch of guys looking for a no frills holiday then this is for you, but wouldn't recommend it to people that like cleanliness.
