I originally visited this hotel some six years ago to sadly attend a funeral tea, and remembered the striking entrance hall and the delicious food. Last Friday was a last minute get away for three of us in rooms eight and nine, and we are all so glad we went. The hotel is very relaxing, the staff are charming, the rooms are super comfy, and the dinner and breakfast was simply delicious. A million thanks to Xhosa Howell and all her team for looking after us so well, and I'm sure if you do visit, you won't be disappointed. Exceptional customer service and value for money too. All best wishes, the Aberdeen brigade.

We loved the location and the character of a hotel from a property originally built in 1850 and later converted to a hotel. Real character and beautiful gardens with great views. The staff were overall very good and friendly. Our room was very spacious and like the rest of the hotel "old world" in style. Food and drinks were great.

We stayed at Lands of Loyal for our 20th wedding anniversary, a surprise for my wife. I chose this hotel purely on its Tripadvisor reviews and was not disappointed. The whole experience, from telephone booking to departure, could not have gone more smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble for Sandie and her team who made us feel extremely welcome; the room, the food and the overall ambience showed the importance placed on customer comfort and satisfaction by the management. Thank you for a very pleasant, if all-too-short stay.
