Serenity Bush Ballads offers you one of the few adults only properties where you can soak up the peace and quiet of the bushveld and nature while experiencing the unique coexistence of this stunning conservancy known as Marloth Park which borders the Kruger National Park and is located only 14 km from the Crocodile Bridge Gate. Here you get to share your environment and surroundings with the animals going about their daily routine as they roam freely through the park and in between our properties. It is like living in your own private African Safari with soft game such as Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Impala, Rooibok, Warthogs and many other species. If you get lucky you may spot an elusive Leopard between the brush. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE ADULTS ONLY

Arriving at Migrate Chalets is a treat, just off the main road, the parking area is tidy and neat, and nearly everytime we arrived, there was some kind of wildlife around, impala, kudu, warthog or mongooses.

Nikki, the manager, is a wonderfully bubbly lady, and was full of information and guidance.

We used Migrate as a base for our Kruger trip, leaving early in the morning, and returning late at night, and was perfect as a safe haven, or pool to cool off in after a day in the car on a hot day.

The free WiFi was unexpectedly consistent, and the husband could have online conference calls, without issue, and the wife could do all her usual social media updates with very little issue.

Just a note, when travelling on the N4 from Malelane, take the first turnoff for Marloth Park, and do not the recommended route as per the road signs. The property is about 1km from this gate, and although there is about 5km on a gravel road, it is reasonably smooth, and any vehicle can traverse it easily.

Our stay at Migrate Bush Chalets turned out to be far more amazing than we had anticipated, largely due to the on-site managers Nikki and Bruce. They made our stay top-class due to their care of us. Bruce took us on a free game drive, Nikki did our laundry for free and every time there was an animal sighting, they called us. This was the best part. We saw bushbabies, waterbuck, springbok, warthog, all close up thanks to them calling us each time. These are experiences we would never have had without these two. They gave us the best advice on which restaurants to visit in Marloth Park and where to drive for game sightings. They made our stay simply wonderful.
The accommodation itself is lovely – very authentic African equipped with everything you will need for a stay in the African bush. We arrived just after a crazy storm but we barely noticed as everything was so efficiently run.
In summary, we will definitely return to Migrate Bush Chalets. Top job by Nikki and Bruce for their care of us. Truly 5 star.

It is self-catering with all the basic needs already at your use. The staff were really friendly and very helpful with advice and routes to make or places to see, always smiling and happy, making our stay one to remember. I love everything about the place, what you see is what you get. The rooms are clean, hospitality on levels, peaceful place if you want to be away from Town. The environment at night is very romantic without even trying, and for our stay as it was our honeymoon, it met every expectation we had. Can not wait for our next stay there!!* Thank you Migrate Bush Chalets for the lovely vacation that was much needed.

It was a lovely and relaxing break away. The chalet was nice and clean with beautiful surroundings. From the first contact with the owner to dealing with the managers Bruce and Nikki it was only a pleasure. Migrate Bush Chalets is well located for visits to the Kruger Park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Recently we had an opportunity to have a little break away from the hustle and bustle of Jhb life. We visit the Kruger annually, around the beginning of Sept., but with all the Covid restrictions, we weren't sure if we would be able to. It was a relief when restrictions were lifted for "cross Province" travel being allowed. I managed to secure a booking at Marloth Bush Chalets (we stayed in their River View Apartments last year) and we were, once again, very happy with the Chalets. Nikki and Bruce are awesome hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. The Chalet was really comfortable and had everything we needed. Thanks Grant and Sue for a wonderful stay - we wil definitlley be back next year!

Very peace full guest was very friendly. We had an awesome time. Very neat . Thank you Nikki for your
kindness and making us feel as if we were at home. We will surely book again. We enjoyed the swimming pool after a day in the Kruger National Park. There is only one thing there is not enough space to pack all the groceries but we made a plan. The price is affordable.

The hosts, Nikki and her husband, were very friendly and helpful. The chalet was neat and clean and had everything that we needed. There is a small swimming pool to cool down and relax. Marloth Park is a lovely place with lots of animals roaming around. It is close to the Kruger National Park Crocodile gate entrance which was our next destination.
