Look no further if you need to rent a well maintained cottage with amazing hosts who check in on you to ensure your stay is going well.
It’s beautiful and relaxing.
There is not 1 but 2 play structures! Fire pits for those nice evening night time fires which they are willing to provide you with wood for a reasonable price.
The beach is clean, has a few chairs and a gazebo for shade. In the lake there is a raft with a slide that the kids will love, I know mine did! as well as a dock for your boats or to fish off of.
This resort is family friendly as well as pet!
You will not find a better bang for your buck then this place!

What an amazing experience! We had to travel up here for work and were not expecting the beauty and level of service we experienced while at Marsh Bay Resort.
The setting itself couldn’t be better, just the right size and perfectly situated on the river. The amenities kept the kids perfectly entertained. Two playgrounds all within view of the trailer site, as well as the beach and dock area were perfect for our family.
Justin kept everything meticulously maintained, and was so friendly and helpful. The grounds were always being groomed, and they so kindly accommodated our extra requests.
Most other guests whom we encountered were lifelong visitors. We are so happy to have found this gem and look forward to visiting in the future.

We spent time at the Marsh Bay Resort, located on a quiet and peaceful part of the Montreal River, over the Jul 1 long weekend while attending a wedding in the area. On arrival, the host's, Jossi and Carolyn, were quick to welcome us and made us feel very welcomed and filled us in on the resort and surrounding area. The services included wi-fi, firewood delivered to the site and full hook-ups (30 amp) for our RV. Our stay was reasonably priced and trouble free. As we were fortunate enough to be staying over the holiday, we were witness to a very impressive schedule of events. Festivities included games for both adults and kids, followed by a free BBQ with hamburgers, hotdogs, various chicken wings and all the fixings. In the evening the resorts guests were treated to a fantastic fireworks display (it lasted over 30 min), the best I have seen for quite some time. The kicker, it was all free. Jossi and Carolyn both go to great lengths to ensure that their guests are cared for and feel welcome. We hesitate to post this because we would like to keep Marsh Bay Resort our little secret, however, it was such a great place to stay, and we enjoyed it so much, they are such great people, that we felt obligated to pass on our recommendation for this little jewel of the Montreal River. They also rent out cabins and have a couple of winterized cabins. We will definitely stay there again when we are in the area (snowmobiling anyone?).

The lake front cottages were completely picturesque for us. The cabins where cozy, warm and very well kept. I truly enjoyed that they keep the rustic feeling to wilderness life with the urban needs we all enjoy after a long day outdoors (hot water! Showers!). If you are of simple needs and fully love nature? This IS your place to stay 4 seasons. ***Check out the book store in Cobalt! It is built on top an old mine shaft! Ha!

Only visited during the winter season but I imagine this is a great location year round. The owners are amazing and the accommodations very comfortable. Easy access to skidoo trails and nearby towns. We did not lack anything during our stay and can’t say enough about how hospitable and accommodating the owners are. Would definitely go back!

One week of camping with family where three generations had a wonderful time. Beautiful beach on Montreal River where my grandchildren swam, kayaked while the youngest played on the sandy beach ! Definitely coming back next year in one of the spacious well-maintained cottages.

Great fishing trip for 2 brothers. Caught over 40 Pike, none a trophy, but enough to keep us occupied, as well as a personal best small mouth bass. The cabin was large and clean. The provided Linen clean and fresh smelling. Sylvia can really cook, in-house meals made by Sylvia were a treat and of ample proportions. The Hosts are very interesting to talk to, and friendly as well.
An excellent choice for a weekend getaway. Highly recommended.

Sylvia and Wes are great proprietors/hosts and friends. The way they welcomed us into their "camping family" and made us part of every event organized was very heartwarming and very encouraging to return for many more years. We already look forward to next summer.
We really enjoyed our first year camping at Marsh Bay Resort and will continue to enjoy many years to come!

I have rented a cottage at Marsh Bay for the past 3 years and have felt welcomed. The cottage are a little rustic but the current owners are working on refurbishing them. There is a nice beach area and great fishing. We will be returning again in the future.

Great location... away from the activity of the Biker Reunion, but close enough so we could enjoy the atmosphere in New Liskeard only a 20 min ride away. Great time, very accommodating and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
2014 was our 6th year... we'll definitely be back. Thanks Sylvia.
