Very tired toilets and shower area. Blocked drains, so stood in the water from the people showering upstream from you... Lots of cigarette butts around pitch so being brought into caravan on our feet. Finally, so noisy!... People milling around at 6:30 am talking and carrying on as if it's midday. Absolutely no concern or respect for others that might want to lie in until 7am!.....was really looking forward to coming here, after having to cancel last year, but will most definitely not be coming back!

Arrived today to this. I absolutely understand that these things happen but my goodness when they do would I expect better service. Dealt with by a staff member who was rude, zero compassion and empathy. Faced with turning round and driving home, having to beg for a refund and being spoken to like dirt by the staff member, I left feeling utterly disgusted. I would treat any stranger in the street better than this let alone a paying customer. I have lost my weeks holiday, lost annual leave I won’t get back, driven for hours with two devastated children and was made to feel entirely worthless. The best bit was hearing staff say when they thought I had gone was that this always happens on that pitch. Maybe don’t book it out then.

Where have the old staff gone! Haven’t been for ages and was really looking forward to going back. Disappointed to the max. Drove all the way from London for a weeks stay and managed 2 days. Customer service is not in the new staffs vocabulary. The shower block is worse than ever even though they’ve been closed for long enough to rectify this. It used to be run well and very laid back but now it’s awful. We definitely will not be coming back.

We are deeply saddened to read your feedback. We regularly receive great feedback from guests on our wardens and friendly teams on parks and therefore we are disappointed to read your comments. Unfortunately, the past year has been incredibly tough on the holiday and hospitality industry and Shorefield Holidays is no exception. We are aware that some work would be desirable in one of our shower blocks and we hope that this may be done soon, should the funds be available. Had any issues been raised at the time whilst on park, our teams would have been more than happy to help. We also advise that we do have two shower/toilet blocks and would recommend trying both whilst staying on park. Our top block has been refurbished and we regularly receive great feedback on these. We can only apologise that your stay was not up to expectations.

Staying as 4 families with kids this weekend we had a great welcome and we were all together. The site is small but has all the basics. The showers are great but in our opinion the toilets are shabby with sinks that hardly drain and cobwebs everywhere. Get the sink in blocker out in the men’s sinks. Definitely room for improvement and could do with a lick of paint which is disappointing considering these things could have been sorted while closed. Pitches aren’t the biggest but we have been spoilt elsewhere Also £100+ for 2 nights camping is not cheap although we did use the pool at the sister site which made up for this a little. A rowdy family opposite but the site are pretty good at coming round at 10pm to respect the curfew and this kept them in check. It’s a good location to explore the beautiful New Forest. We had a great time but wish I had seen the review about the mosquitoes as we got hammered by them with two of our group having over 30 bites. We’ve all come home with bites. Be worth you mentioning this on arrival and offering products in the shop. On the whole a good stay with great friends. The people who run it are super approachable and nice just a few improvements needed in my opinion.

Dear Mossy3, thank you for taking the time to leave a review and we appreciate your comments. Had the issues you mention on our toilets been raised at the time whilst on park, our teams would have been more than happy to help. We also advise that we do have two shower/toilet blocks on park and would recommend trying both whilst staying with us. Our top block has been refurbished and we regularly receive great feedback on these. We are however pleased that you managed to make the most of the swimming pool at our nearby sister site and that you found the park's location ideal for exploring the beautiful area. We hope that you will consider staying with us again as we would love to welcome you back.

Beautiful campsite. Immaculately kept with attention to detail. We had a fully serviced pitch which was amazing. The staff on site could not have been any more accommodating and were very friendly and welcoming from the time of booking till the time we left. They helped us out on more than one occasion and they were amazing. Great location Great Campsite Fantastic Staff. Would love to stay here again.
