First impression of room was its size. Enormous interior with two large double beds. Large plate glass windows formed two walls. Large bathroom with glass box shower. Then some practicalities emerged. No bedside lights.
Large open door space to bathroom but this allows a view...More
This modern hotel has the potential to be superb, as it has amazing views of the bay; but it feels unfinished. The rooms are massive but bare and poorly cleaned, no wardrobe, no bedside light, bare walls, etc. Plus gaps between the patio windows and...More
Lovely location with beautiful beach (across the road). This resort is excellent. Rooms are spacious if lacking in finishing touches like paintings, hooks and towel rails in bathroom, bedside reading lights. Breakfast buffet is mediocre. Shame as dinner menu is good. Staff are very helpful...More

The rooms have "no" bathroom doors. Our room was just a huge wide space with two queen beds. It had a small pad outside with two chairs. Not any privacy. The rooms are pretty and clean. The pool was the only entertainment area, but the beach is just a short walk away. Now, you have to rent a taxi to get to the ATV office. We were charged $10 one way and it only took about 15 minutes to get there. We really enjoyed the 3 hour tour.

We used the Samara Adventure Company. They were wonderful. We went mountain biking (fabulous tour guide), standup paddle tour and snorkeling, and a dolphin and snorkeling Tour. They were each better than the other. THe guides were great. Often, we were the only ones on the tour, so it was truly first class! There is a wonderful pool with great shade that moves with the sun for resting after your adventures. And the restaurant at the hotel is wonderful. And we recommend the Argentinian Grill which is only a short walk away. I wouldn't waste time on a spa treatment-- there are so many outside things to do. And then you can walk around Samara (a $10 taxi ride), and sit on the beach at Gus's eating great italian food and healthy drinks of all sorts. On the beach! Watching the horses! Go!
