The Hotel Sila, located along the main avenue of Camigliatello, was a real discovery. Entering the lobby you can breathe a characteristic and rustic air, welcoming and attention to detail with the possibility of entertaining pleasant chats on comfortable sofas, having a drink at the bar corner or improvising a game of pool. There is no shortage of musical instruments, plants and paintings to embellish the environment that gives, so, a very beautiful impact so much to remember a classic mountain hut. The rooms are clean, bright, with colors that blend perfectly with the natural landscape, so warm and enveloping to put anyone at ease. Breakfast, set up in a beautiful room with a sloping roof, is rich and all quality to start the day in the best way. The services provided by the hotel, for a small fee, are exclusive and aim, inevitably, to raise the level of the same: there is a small gym very intimate but at the same time well stocked and a spa with hydromassage, sauna, Turkish bath and emotional shower, with the possibility to even book a massage and refreshments with fruit and herbal tea. In addition, the staff, always friendly and helpful, cares that every moment is reserved and unique for customers, for this you can book a specific time for both gym and spa, so you have exclusive use, ensuring relaxation and total privacy. In conclusion we had a pleasant stay but my rating cannot be overstated beyond 4 stars, because it would take little to make the services better: the sauna was out of order and we were not warned at the time of booking, but this "flaw" was recognized in the final price. The emotional shower, on the other hand, had a jet that was too strong and, for personal taste, too hot; also missing the classic scents of vaporized essential oils and the color change that was set only on the green color. However, it remains an excellent hotel and with small precautions could reach the top, for this we will return and will definitely be one of our landmarks in Camigliatello.

We just returned from 2 nights at this hotel
Strategic and central location. Clean hotel and friendly and helpful staff. Excellent animation. Recommended for families with small children and adolescents.
The only flaw is the very poor breakfast. Croissants only on request (it took about 20 minutes to wait for them) small and few so they ran out immediately. Toast to be requested in the kitchen and about 15 Min to have it. Water pitchers and juices (poor) perpetually empty. In none of the 2 days we found cold cuts to be able to make a savory breakfast.
After all, it's okay. We will return

We spent a small time in this property but enough to appreciate its qualities.
Attentive and welcoming staff.
The restaurant offers varied and quality dishes with a precise and prompt service.
Breakfast could improve in the offer at the end of the shift which seemed less rich.
Ultimately a definitely positive experience also considering the low prices

As soon as you arrive at the Hotel Sila, the thing that immediately strikes you positively is the warm welcome from all the staff, always smiling and friendly, available to fulfill every customer's request. The structure looks a little dated but inside the environment is comfortable and warm - it needs a general refresh, honestly. Our room was a triple and was very large and quiet, perfectly insulated thermally and acoustically. The general cleanliness is very good and the bathroom immediately gave the idea of cleanliness and hygiene. The only flaw (in line with the need for an update): the electrical wall sockets were all of the "Italian" type and not Schuko, so those traveling with a notebook behind them could encounter difficulties connecting the charger; however, thanks to the aforementioned availability of the staff, just ask for an adapter and this is promptly provided. Breakfast is purely Italian with croissants, cakes, fruit juices, yogurt and a coffee/cappuccino/barley espresso machine, and is consumed in a special room on the first floor (therefore close to the rooms without having to go through the hall ). The restaurant (and the Chef) deserve a separate review for the very high quality offered. We only had dinner there one evening and on that occasion the chef had prepared braised meat on mashed potatoes off the menu: simply excellent! In any case, the penne with sauce and the cutlet from the children's menu that we asked for our daughter were also excellent. Real compliments to the chef.
If you happen to want to stay in Camigliatello Silano, the Hotel Sila is highly recommended as it is very central and, if you arrive by car, it is even possible to park in a guarded car park - a recommended choice as there are few free parking spaces in relation to those delimited by blue stripes.

We did not stay at the hotel but we stopped to eat at the restaurant 3 adults and a 1-year-old girl... who welcomed us and served (I think family run) very kind, the place clean but very dated but we will not return. I asked for a ricotta for the baby I meant one of those small appetizers and I was brought 3 slices of a large ricotta paid the beauty of 5 euros more on the receipt I found the price of the baby blanket, a 1-year-old girl who ate 2 crumbs of cottage cheese... we order an appetizer of cold cuts and cheeses and mixed heat and arrives 1 slice of ham, 2 capicollo that was only fat, 2 small meatballs and eggplant, a very small braid of mozzarella and 2 slices of sausage the size of the pinky fingernail all this the beauty of 15 euros... 3 first normal portion of which 1 wrong, 2 bottles of water 70 euros... how do you charge 3 slices of mozzarella 5 euros and the blanket to a newborn??? and then complain that there is no tourism, you can not do but in general

Very welcoming hotel with Serafina and Giusi reception , The metre Vittorio and the legendary chef so helpful, competent and kind. We found ourselves as if we were family, I would also say well treated in every detail. Typical Calabrian dishes (porcini above all) exceptional served with care and utmost attention to everything. To improve some small things such as heating seen the great cold of these days due to the snow that has however made the holiday in the Sila magical. Congratulations.... to the hotel staff

Hotel dated but acceptable, bathrooms are new, rooms are clean and staff are friendly. The location is excellent practically in the center. The restaurant needs to be reviewed, dishes without flavour, cold or reheated. On the Sila you eat very well except here.

We have stayed at this hotel more than once. The structure is very central, the reception staff are professional and helpful but the restaurant service (which last year was...
was decent but nothing special) this year very poor both in terms of food and service itself. Little considered especially by the maitre d', except for what is strictly necessary (not for the other guests). Clearly we won't be going back again.

I would have expected more, better regarding the cleaning of the accommodation and the restaurant, also considering the cost of the holiday. Applause to the reception staff always friendly and helpful. The location is optimal for the slopes or spring break
