Fantastic hidden gem in the Overberg. Worth taking a small detour to take advantage of luxury wine tasting and extremely well priced, delicious food. The Portobellini-truffle flatbread was insane and at R85 I seriously thought there was a digit missing! Make sure to try the Hope Marguerite Chenin. Top 5 white wines in the Western Cape imho. 5/5 for sure! I will definitely be back again and again!

Lovely family-run wine farm, with great deli and friendly welcome. After a delicious and very reasonably priced brunch, we enjoyed a tasting of Beaumont’s excellent wines.
I would highly recommend a visit to this farm, which has a lot to offer and provides a very relaxed atmosphere in attractive surroundings.

We were invited by a friend for lunch. Where? In Botriver? We were pleasantly surprised. Lovely place, great service and excellent, freshly prepared food - tapas style... not to forget the outstanding wine.

Decided to make an impromptu stop at Beaumont Family Wines after numerous recommendations and a weekend away. Excellent food and wine, accompanied by the sparkling, effervescent and enthusiastic Nadia.

Thank you for making us feel at home like longtime friends and locals. We’ll be back.

We have visited before and on both occasions been served by Lynn, who been an excellent server, but not only friendly, but knowledgeable and engaging. We also had the chance to meet Sebastian, who was also engaging and interested to hear what we had to say about his wines and we appreciated him taking the time out on a busy day for them! There’s a great mix of wines to suit all palettes and also budgets.

Wow, absolutely fantastic wines. Their claim is to Chenin Blanc but my personal opinion, they even do the reds great. They only offer ploughman type platter which was delicious and great wines to enjoy with the platter. Wines are a little pricey but well worth it.

Ideally located close to the N2, this family run wine estate is more rustic than smart and as such closer to the real world of wine making (which was under way whilst we were there). We were made very welcome both by the lady in the tasting room and the wine maker who showed off his skills to good effect. The cottages look lovely although we didn't look inside.

More than just wine! Stunning jams and nuts. Wine was as good as can be and worth a pop in. Did not try the port but heard it is good. Would live to visit to experience a field to loaf festival and the barrel lunches sounda like and eveing to enjoy.

Our main reason for visiting Bot River was to go horse riding amongst the vineyards with Klein Paradys Equestrian Centre and then decided we'd better stay in Bot River as we weren't sure how much alcohol we'd consume.

We booked to stay at Beaumont Family wines and as luck would have it the horse ride took us there for the wine tasting as well.

What a wonderful experience - their wines are really nice.

Our accommodation was also fantastic - very comfortable and cosy. We loved it and it's well worth a visit
