Our stay was magical and romantic, I was completely blown away by its beauty and 5 star service.
Meche was an absolute gem facilitating us with the cottage and seeing to all our needs, the estate and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful.
We had an early lunch at the restaurant, the food and wine was phenomenal, the Chef made a point to come greet us as well and that made it extra special. The restaurant experience felt like pure opulence. We were booked in for a 1 night stay and when we arrived to our cottage the champagne was on ice and our gourmet braai box was busy being prepared for evening delivery. I was able to pre-order these things prior to our arrival, I just loved that convenience! All we needed was an overnight bag, as the cottage came with a fully kitted kitchen including braai utensils, wood and fresh linen + towels with heated rooms. Every single thing was clean and in mint condition! The coffee station was stocked up and with hot chocolate too, the cottage had an honesty bar with the wine from the estate, so you really need not bring anything. It was the little things as well, the hairdryer in the cupboard, the shampoo in the shower to the bottled water and milk in the fridge. The views from the cottage was amazing, sitting on the stoep sipping on champagne and watching the horses graze was truly serene, tranquility at it’s finest. The breakfast they serve is out of this world, it was such a large spread, we left the estate with full bellies and happy hearts.

This is our 3 rd stay at Wildekraans and we love the place. It’s so easy to relax and the staff are so helpful and friendly.
The bungalows are well furnished and very comfortable and close to the estate tasting room and restaurant. The tasting room has a separate bar and a dining area for lovely lunches, some evening meals and an in house service. The restaurant is a super experience in fine dining. The breakfasts are amongst the best you can get in South Africa and gilded with the lovely helpful staff.
The only issue is the swimming pool is a little uninviting, but I understand they will be upgrading this soon.
Also it’s very good value for the price , with breakfast included

Highly recommend this hidden gem. It's so tranquil. Just what we needed to unwind. Service is excellent from the reception to the restaurant and the tasting room. The cottages are excellent value for money and the breakfast is gourmet and so much more than you bargained for.

Thank you to Emma, Gordon and the staff for making our wedding weekend so much fun! We had a blast with you guys. The cocktail menu was something else and of excellent quality. Everyone had more than enough to eat and we enjoyed the variety and taste. The accomodation and venue was beautiful and we appreciate your help and willingness to accomodate all our requests and crazy guests.

The accommodation is set on the most beautiful wine farm, facing a view of Bot River's rolling hills. It's gorgeous! It's only a 20-ish minute drive from Hermanus if you're keen to explore. The contemporary restaurant is a definite highlight... and of course the wine tasting experience!

A beautiful setting with friendly staff and an exceptional continental breakfast. We needed to leave early before breakfast and the organised staff delivered a generous platter of fresh goodies for us to enjoy the next morning. The pool at the bottom is also a great place to relax and cool down. The fire pits are the perfect place to watch the sun set over the mountains. The mountain biking and running trails looked like fun to wander, sadly we didn’t have the time.

We stayed at Wildekrans for a weekend away from our own Guest House. It was wonderful. The food was superb, the staff all inviting, professional, efficient & warm. The spaces were the perfect balance of comfort and luxury but keep the feel of a countryside quaint hotel experience. We took advantage of time outside, and were grateful for the walking trails, outside boma space, extensive lawns and the horses we got to visit daily (although we don't ride). It was a great space to unwind and relax. Don't miss the amazing food at the restaurant!
