The Blue Crane Farm Lodge is everything you want and more. With a fully equipped kitchen, full indoor and outdoor braai facilities, a pizza oven (with complimentary bases) and a wood-fired hot tub, what more could you ask for? The lodge provides a loaf of freshly baked bread and a bottle of milk each morning too, so as to aid with an even more delightful breakfast!

The views are spectacular and the area is so peaceful... It is the ultimate romantic getaway spot or the perfect place for a group of close friends to enjoy together! My boyfriend and I went for our 8 year anniversary and he popped the question with a beautiful sunset view overlooking the dam and mountains - it could not have been more perfect!

Thank you to Annelize and the team for making it a delightful stay.

Best place for a breakaway. Beautiful house. With amazing inside and outside braai facilities. An amazing fire fed hottub with an amazing view. Inside you have your own pizza oven with pizza bases include.

Every morning you receive a fresh farm bread and 1L of farm fresh milk.

Wish I could stay there for a month.

We do a lot of farm stays, but this one is definitely our new favourite. Beautifully decorated and spacious cottages on a farm with everything you may need at hand. We especially loved the special touches like fresh milk, bread, eggs, butter, rusks, pizza bases, etc. Lots of places to make a fire, hot tub with a view and beautiful views all contribute to an amazing stay.

We will definitely be back soon!

Went there for our wedding anniversary and wow what a great place we picked!! The wood fired jacuzzi was great! Waking up in the morning to fresh bread and butter was a treat! They even gave a bottle of champagne for our anniversary. Great hospitality- we will definitely be visiting next year😊

Beautifully appointed self catering cottage with wood fired hot tub on the deck, plus wood burning pizza oven and both indoor and outdoor fire place. They even provide fresh farm butter, 6 eggs, freshly baked bread and milk, all included.

Four lovely self-catering cottages spread out and overlooking a dam and the surrounding farms and hills. Very spacious and as comfortable as a house, each cottage has high ceilings, beautiful polished wooden floors, a big open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area with a huge fireplace, as well as a pizza oven. Two large bedrooms share a bathroom with shower, and the main bedroom has a glorious oval bath-for-two overlooking the deck and views. Very good, large and comfortable beds, pillows and linen. Good for all weather conditions, the deck is under cover with a braai, dining area, an excellent wood fired hot tub and two chairs for reading and relaxing. Outside good patch of lawn for children or sunbathing. Kitchen is well equipped with fridge, microwave and two-plate stove and generous hospitality with filter coffee and homemade rusks, as well as 2 pizza bases, and fresh farm produce that included 6 eggs and a slab of butter in the fridge plus the 'piece de resistance': fresh farm milk and loaf of bread delivered through a secret service hatch before breakfast. Lots of dry fire wood provided. Big enough for a long stay to explore the area.
