We had the most wonderful weekend. The chalet had all the luxuries and goodies to make it the most unforgettable few days. It is very secluded, everything is very neat, you have lots of firewood, and the hot tub is out of this world. We had the privilege to meet the general manager, what a great and friendly guy. We will be back, what a gem!

What a relaxing experience. We highly appreciated the privacy and attention to detail. Views for days and our cabin had the most amazing wood fires hot tub where we spent most of the day.

We are planning on making this an Easter Weekend tradition.

Being trying forever to get a booking here and finally got two nights . We stayed in Sewejaartjie. This was an exceptional experience and I can see why they are so popular. Whats is obvious is that there is an uncompromising commitment to quality and customer comfort. Exceptionally high standards , in a beautiful peaceful setting.Unobtrusive management, all round a wonderful break and we will be back. Well done to the owners on their vision and execution.

My mom and I visited Kolkol for the second time. The first time we stayed in the Pods which are absolutely amazing. This time we stayed in the challets. Everything is perfect but if you prefer an extra bit of luxury and don't mind paying more, the pods are worth it. I think the only issue we have is that the roads aren't very good. Again if you go to the pods it is not that high up and much more doable but we really did struggle a but with the terrain - grated we are not experienced "bakkie" drivers. We love the fact that there is enough wood for the fireplace/hit tub etc, no need to take more along.

Had a really great two night stay. Peaceful, romantic and the views are stunning! The wood fired hot tub is an absolute winner! Cabin is fully equipped for self catering even down to toothpicks! Really well designed and comfortable cabin. Wish we could have stayed longer!

What an absolutely amazing place! Everything you need and nothing you dont need. We stayed in a pod unit that had an incredible view, beautiful furnishings and most of all privacy. Communication with the owner was easy and quick, this goes to the top of places we will return to.

We stayed for one night in the Witwater Pod for our 21st wedding anniversary. This place is an absolute must for any couple! It is so well equipped with everything you need. The view is stunning and it is so quiet and peaceful! The pizza oven is a winner! The view from the bath is beautiful and the outdoor shower was also very nice and then the hot tub!!!! Wow!!! Thank you Karen & team for a stay we will remember forever and for the bubbly to celebrate our anniversary! We will definitely visit again, but at least for a weekend!

Stayed in Bugsy cabin for 3 nights. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best but there was ample wood for a fire and once in the hot tub it was lovely. Plenty of bird life and an inquisitive mongoose to round it off. Stress free and relaxing. Thank you Kol Kol team.

Hey there. I’m not 100% sure but I know it Olga at least 2 bedrooms as well as a loft with 2 queen sized beds that can be split in to singles. Hope that helps

Where is the nearest restaurant if ond does not want to self cater.

Hi Susan, you would obviously need to drive to the restaurants. There are a couple like for instance the Botrivier Hotel (7km), Shuntin Shed Pizza (7km) and also the Gabrielskloof Restaurant & Deli (10km). Of course you can also drive to Hermanus with plenty eateries to choose from (35km). Hope this helps - enjoy!

Hi, it depends. There are 2 sleepers and I think the bigger cabins take up to 8 people. They have full details on their website.

Hi Taryn, we stayed in the Bugsy cabin during winter and had no bugs or spider encounters.
