I used the country inn for a stopover. The room was very clean and conveniently furnished. There is no refrigerator or air conditioning in the room. The location is very good, close to the motorway exit. The breakfast buffet is perfect, very large selection. The evening meal was very well cooked and tasted perfect. Very friendly staff. Good value for money. There are enough parking spaces.

We stopped at Hotel Restaurant Kramerwirt in Irschenberg near the Autobahn. The hotel manager said: we are fully booked. 18.10 p.m. I asked him for information about an alternative. He said "within 20 km's all hotels are fully booked, and send us 100 km further away up North". My sister in law said in the car: " just check this by your cellphone, because something is wrong with this hotel manager". So I did and surprise, surprise: the first three hotels I called had rooms available. We went to Hotel Auerschmiede. Nice road into the woods. Room € 50,-- incl. breakfast ans shower. Good restaurant, low cost, clean rooms. Excellent breakfast and very nice owner with good service.

This place is a joke! We had to spend one night on our way home... For starters we waited 90mins to get dinner (fries & schnitzel - not exactly complicated).... Well... OK. But our room... Here we go: toilet was broken, no curtains, guestbeds were awful - like sleeping on logs, there was a wasp nest in the window, the bed lamps were not connected - chords were cut, there was one single light bump in the entire room.... If you don't belive me.... Watch the pictures. I'd rather spend a night in nickelbacks rehearsal room than going back to landgasthof Auerschmiede!

On the road to Croatia we stranded on the highway at a tank stop in the middle of the night with no place to sleep. The owners of the hotel came to pick us up and gyuide us to their hotel, awesome service! Rooms are good, food excellent, we were pleased and came back to them on our trip back home
