We went for dinner with family. The dining rooms are bright and friendly, the service is very fast (too fast - probably optimized for bus customers and those passing through from the motorway...) and the portions are large, but the quality of the food unfortunately suffered due to the prioritization of speed and mass processing. The sauce for the pepper cream pork loin tasted like the packet it probably came from, the roast pork was carelessly prepared and too hard and too dry - and both were served much faster than they could possibly have been cooked. What a pity.

Room Tip: Gut für schnelles und reichliches Essen, nicht so gut, wenn es auch noch gut schmecken soll.

We were there for dinner. Although the dining room was not full, we had the feeling that we should leave quickly. The service was rather sober. The food was served rather carelessly and finished much too quickly. The feel-good factor was unfortunately missing here.

Super cozy place high on a hill, possibility of bicycle charging. As well as going for walks.
Must be light on your feet as there is no lift and most rooms are upstairs. Also has family rooms. However, no air conditioning, but we didn't feel it was necessary. It was 27 degrees outside when we visited at the beginning of August. Will it happen again?

On our way to Austria, we selected this hotel for one night only. We received a warm welcome and we got a nice, clean room. Although it was in the middle of a snow storm, the heating worked perfectly. Room and bathroom were spotless.
In the restaurant, the food is simple but not expensive. It is also very close to the motorway, so in all, an ideal stop-over.

Great hotel to stay at. Family run hotel, very clean, well organized and an outstanding staff. Conveniently located on the A8, it is an excellent option for a stop especially after a long drive. We experienced an outstanding home country-made breakfast, all organic. They even have playground and a trampoline for kids to enjoy. Highly recommended for all travelers.

Bookd a room in advance as an overnghtsty on our trip from Hamburg to Italy.
Hotel is located close to the motorway exit Irschenberg on the A 8 between Munich and Inntal junction. The room was fully OK for one night in resepct to size and amenity TV, hairdryer. Room did not have an alarm clock/ function and minibar. Would expect that in case guests do stay for a longer period some larger rooms will be available. Both room and bathroom was clean.
We foundit positive that meals are served in the evening until 11pm andbreakfast from 06:oo to 10:00am. Meals for dinenr are availableat reasonable cost with the majority being local bavarian dishes. Breakfast was good, but did not include any hot items and we were missing eggs. However for just an overnight stay whilst travelling, this did not harm the genreal positive impression we have had.
When coming from the north or west and travelling to the Alps the advantage of the loacation is, that you have apssed Munich in the evening hours and do not run the risk to be held up around Munich during morning ruhs hour the next day.
The Kramerwirt will be for sure an option for another overnight stay whilst travelling south.

I hit this hotel after driving 12 hours and it was a godsend. It was very cold outside and foggy, but the hotel had a nice, warm atmosphere, good beer and the thickest schnitzel I have ever eaten. The price was great (around 50 euros for dinner and a single room) so I will definitely stay there again if ever around the Munich area.

Nice clean room, good breakfast and very easy to find from the main road. Would stay there again. Unfortunately we arrived late after a long drive and so didn't eat but the beer was delicious. Staff were very helpful considering we spoke very little german.

Stopped here for just 1 night but wished we'd stayed longer. We chose the hotel as a stopover between England and Italy... it is perfectly situated beyond Munich and before the Autobahn divides to Innsbruck or Salzburg and is less than 1km from junction 99 of the A8. Lovely, quiet rooms and an excellent restaurant. Well worth a visit.
