Pacific Club is an absolute find in Phuket. I have been coming here for many years, the resort has a nice boutique feel, the rooms are very comfortable, the rooftop pool with sea view is amazing and the restaurant and room service have a very good menu with reasonable prices. An onsite spa is also here, and the hotel is just a few minutes' walk to one of the quietest and nicest beaches on the island. The owner and the staff make you feel like you are at home. Highly recommend a stay here. Covid Update-the hotel is fully-functioning during this time with no reduction in service.

Had a fantastic stay at the Pacific. Our room was immaculate and with amazing views. The roof top pool is beautiful, with great sea views. Breakfast offered a variety of options which were all spot on. The same with the restaurant on the evening. The staff were so friendly and helpful they gave the whole place a happy and welcoming atmosphere to let you relax. With all the facilities open as usual, the friendliness of the owner and staff, and the wonderful room I couldn't find a negative thing to say. Highly recommended to anybody wanting to explore Phuket or have a relaxing break.

The PACIFIC CLUB RESORT in Karon Beach, Phuket, Thailand Well I have just completed my two week stay, here again, at the “BEST” boutique resort I have found in over 20+ years of traveling to Thailand at The Pacific Club Resort. “First a disclaimer I have NO financial interest in this property”. The Pacific Club Resort is a small boutique resort with only 32 guest rooms. I would rate it as a 4.5* star property. Each room is slightly different in style but their is no lack of room amenities. The staff at the PCR, as I call it, has the most wonderful all around staff. NOTHING is ever a problem for any employee and they are always willing to assist and help you at any time. During this Covid 19 Pandemic “Phuket”, the hottest tourist destination in Thailand and one of the most popular tourist spots in the world has been devastated as most other tourist destinations worldwide. For more than 10 months Phuket which relies primarily on tourism became a “Ghost Town”. The Pacific Club Resort owner, “Uncle Eric”, as he is called by his staff, has continued to keep his staff safe and isolated on site during this time to maintain their safety, with continued employment and to make sure the property is well maintained and the facilities fully operational during this horrific time. While driving to the PCR from the Phuket airport one could see the toll that this pandemic has caused with most business being closed and not a hint of any resorts resorts being open. It was truly very sad seeing this having frequented Phuket which had always been bustling so many times before. That all changed upon arrival at the PCR. The PCR looked exactly as it did in February 2020 the last time I was here. The PCR was looking mighty fine, a dire contrast of what was seen on the way to the PCR. The exterior was well maintained. The reception area, the “Dining Room” and each of the individual rooms were spotlessly clean. The Infinity Rooftop Pool was open and sparkling clear. There was no indication that this resort had ever been affected by any Pandemic and the Staff was as cheerful and friendly as they have always been in the past. It was great to see some friendly faces and they were as happy to see us as we were to see their smiling faces. There was no indication anywhere on the property that we were to be the 1st international guests in the last 10 months. No musky smell, no issues with the A/C, hot water etc. it was truly remarkable that this resort had been pretty much empty except for very few domestic tourists. The rooftop infinity pool (my favorite hangout) was just as beautiful as ever. The water was clear, cool and most refreshing. The lounge chairs and tables set out nicely and the well groomed foliage was such a pleasant and welcoming sight. I knew immediately we had made the right choice and endured such an arduous task to get here including spending 2 week quarantine at an ALSQ hotel in Pattaya. (separate review). The Dining Room was just as airy as always, everything was in perfect condition and not a hint of dust or devious stagnation anywhere. The friendly faces of the staff were once again smiling and happy to see the 1st group of guests in ages except for a few Domestic Travelers. The breakfast display was a little less abundant due to the number of guests. However, everything on their full menu was very tasty and freshly prepared. Some special requested food items that we have had in previous visits (around 20 or so) was easily ordered and delivered as promptly as before with the utmost care in presentation and taste. This is another reason the PCR stands out. They are the most accommodating in food preparation requests. Food items like breads, muffins etc. are individually Saran wrapped to ensure freshness and minimal food handling in this most difficult pandemic. The Housekeeping staff has continued to maintain the rooms to the high standards of Uncle Eric. The rooms were airy, fresh and so clean. Routine Covid protection such as face masks were the norm here too. Presently there is a Government health crew that comes by daily and does temperature checks of guests and staff to maintain and monitor the high COVID safety concerns throughout the province. The Health crew which numbered about 8 was extremely friendly and they too seemed happy to see a start of International guests returning to Phuket. This is such a wonderful idea and is it so obvious that Thailands Government has taken this Pandemic seriously. The TOTAL number of Covid related deaths in Thailand which currently stands at 72 in TOTAL since Covid started just about 1 year ago. Their strict enforcement and monitoring during the pandemic is the reason the Covid 19 statistics are at a low level. Thailand ranks as 4th currently as being the best worldwide in handling the Covid 19 pandemic. That COVID fatality number just about equals the daily accident fatality here in Thailand. The management and staff are doing all they can possibly do to keep their valued guests and employees safe. It looks to me like the PCR will be one of the few business to survive this pandemic. It is very disheartening to know that so many businesses here in Phuket, as with many other places worldwide, will not be bouncing back no matter what happens. I would like to thank Chai, Su, JoSo and the rest of the Dining Room staff along with the rest of the entire PCR staff including Jack the chef, Kwan and Palm for their efforts and assistance with my requests. The staff are the ones that make us want to return year after year. I for one am truly thankful that Uncle Eric has taken the steps to maintain and care for the safety and job security of the PCR Staff. The Pacific Club Resort is a true GEM. In my eyes the most friendly and wonderful resort in Phuket for sure. From the bottom of my heart I wish you all the very best in your future here at the PCR. THANK YOU ALL. Ron

Everything was perfect. Staff so friendly and helpful. They even boiled eggs for us on two occasions. Never once failed to greet us like family. Rooms were clean and spacious. The little kitchenette and large fridge made a longer stay all the more comfortable. Food was clean, tasty and had large portions. They didn't charge extra on the stated price in the menu. Locations was great too. Since there were few guests, they upgrades without any fanfare!!
