Hotel Toscana Verde offers a familiar and informal Country style atmosphere. Nestled in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, it is in a strategic position to visit the most beautiful places in Tuscany and Umbria. The resort has recently changed ownership and starting from July 2019 it has revolutionized the staff, with a new Manager, a new Chef and a staff in continuous expansion. The modernization works continue steadily, but with extreme discretion so as not to disturb the tranquility of our guests. Attention to the customer, renovation of the rooms, domotics, sustainability, are just some of the key points around which the staff of the Hotel Toscana Verde works hard every day. The beautiful pool is flourishing, adding value to the bar and to the refreshment area, shaded by a wood of secular shrubs. The Wellness Center has been completely renovated and redesigned last December. The restaurant offers typical Tuscan dishes and wines. It also has a modular conference room.

Recommend the hotel. Staff is nice and helpful. There's a swimming pool. Rooms are clean and breakfast is ok. One thing i didnt like which is reception is empty after 11:00 p.m so if you're planning to reach the hotel late make sure you manage for keys. Some friends waited for an hour until the found someone to open the rooms for them. Plus it's almost completely dark at night at the hallways. There's access to lighting but first night was a bit confusing. Generally we liked it and the area is just beautiful

The hotel seems to be quite big and I am tempted to say that it does not fit in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. The room was spacious and clean and it looked over a back-wooded "park". We took both breakfast and dinner in the hotel and its was all right. As a special gesture, we were served a soup instead of pasta one evening! Otherwise, it seems to in "in the middle of nowhere"...

We spent one week in this hotel (October 2016). The hotel is an old tobacco factory and it has old photographs on the walls. The hotel is a rugged elegant, rustic style. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was big. The room had a large double bed, three closets and a television. We stayed on the 2nd floor and the wi-fi worked well in our room. Breakfast was Italian basic level. We ate one dinner at the hotel and it was fine. Since we stayed there in October the pool was already closed. The surroundings are beautiful Tuscan countryside. The hotel is located in a very small community far away from everything, so a car is a must. We made day trips to various places of Tuscany and once we went by train to Florence. Especially for such day trips on the hotel location is great. The staff was helpful and smiling.

The place is immersed into a nice tuscan landscape but it's probably too big to be handled right by the few people working there: rooms were dirty (we found hairs in the shower the first day), daily cleanup took forever and was not that accurate, sheets quality was just bad and couple bed kept splitting in twins, not to mention the amount of bugs annoying guests on the poolside (I understand it's countryside but it's also 2016, it's plenty of ways to keep them off, or just not to invite them over like they do.. cmon it's even not possible to take a shower on the poolside because it's become a vacation place for bees). Too bad because the location has beautiful surroundings and the pool would be actually very nice if it was feasible to relax on its side. The lack of care is also evident from the entertainment facilities they offer: for instance, they have a pool that costs 2€ each game when the table is not in good conditions and table tennis for free with rackets and ball broken so hard that is impossible to play and table placed next to spine-plants. I guess they bet on their relax services (massages, sauna, etc.) which are offered for private time (hence we didn't even try given the hygienic conditions). Breakfast is nothing special: croissant, marmalade, few sweets, cut-by-yourself bread, ham, cheese.. and beverage from self-serving machines. Same history here: nice location, not so much content. Last but not least, if you have meals in this place other than breakfast, they are not bad (or that good even) but keep in mind they charge you for pipe water (2€ each bottle).. kind of unbelievable. PS: sunflowers surrounding the structure shown on the pictures on their website are photoshopped, there is none and no trace they've ever been.

We stopped at this hotel/restaurant for lunch on a Saturday in August. We had to wait 50 minutes to get an almost cold plate of pasta, one could hope for more given the low number of guests at the restaurant. Or perhaps precisely not. The waitress was nice enough. Somewhat gloomy atmosphere in a hotel that appears oversized given the number of visitors.
