Delayed flight had us arrive at VAL after midnight, 65 Euro cab ride; we had a 6 year old, no cabs had booster seats...they wouldn't take her (1 finally did). It is a local hotel, not a resort; keep that in mind when you expect accommodation or amenity.I should caveat that with: if you speak Spanish, there are a lot of activities for the family, otherwise, there is nothing to do at the hotel aside from the pool. No English, but their website says that; I enjoyed brushing off my rusty college Spanish, but it could only get me so far in stores, with cab drivers, and with the hotel staff. So, if you don't speak fluent Spanish, just be prepared to get your Google translate out. Everyone brings their beach gear; no rental places (including at the hotel) which gets brutal when you are on the sand with no umbrella. Breakfast was fine; did not pay for lunch, dinner on 2nd night got a ground chicken patty (raw) and meatballs (raw). Understand the siesta; impacts pool times and bar times as well as the few stores nearby. The beachfront comes alive around 9PM; merchants set up, and restaurants open prior to to that, the few restaurants that are open are packed, and the couple of stores near the beach have siesta hours; plan accordingly. Within a couple of blocks there is a gas station and supermarket (Consum) that maintain regulars hours where you can get what you need. The mini-fridge in the room was not particularly cold, and it took along time to cool things down. On Sunday, there was a flea market near the hotel where you could get beach towels or beachwear for cheap as well as some local food. It closed at 1200 or 1PM; highly recommend if for no other reason than the experience. Cab back (left at 1230) to airport was 50 Euro; so, about 120 Euro in cabs without going anywhere else by cab during our stay. Overall, I think it is a bit overpriced, but, again this is informed by a language barrier. If you don't speak Spanish, I would look elsewhere.

We stayed at this Inn for 2 nights. It's easy to find. Off-season, we were able to park for free in front of the Inn. Otherwise there is a paid parking.
I had read several comments saying that the staff was not friendly, spoke only in Spanish... We did not have any inconvenience at all about this! All the Leaders we met at the front desk and in the restaurant spoke English and were smiling.
The room is nice. A downside: we travel with our 2 daughters 8 and 11 years old and as much our bed was ultra wide (but really!), as much the girls sofa bed was very narrow... The balcony was very nice too.
Bathroom OK, toilet not separated and presence of a bidet.
The Pension has a beautiful swimming pool... which we couldn't test despite the 26th because it was rated "no swimming without supervisors". Too bad because our daughters would have been soaking in it!
There are also 2 tennis courts, a table football and a table tennis table.
We took a "half board" formula and had choices for breakfast (lots of choices for savoury, good orange juice and good pancakes) and dinner (with different dishes on 2 nights, except desserts; drinks to pay extra if you want something other than water). For the restaurant room, it is better not to sit at the tables next to the buffet as it is quite noisy. Prefer the "living rooms" adjoining the garden, it is a little quieter.
In short, Good Pension for a small excursion 30 minutes from Valencia or to enjoy the beach off season but in summer, it must be black people!

The hotel has one star left over in many things. The facilities are old and out of date. To enter the dining room, if you leave it for rush hours, an important queue forms.
The pool closes from 14 to 16, even on a day when the beach had closed access due to fecal water pollution and finding hammocks is mission impossible because there are few and people take them from the early morning, even without being, despite the instructions of the lifeguard.
Evening entertainment is void, only activities for children. It is a hotel for families with young children.
One bright spot is the natural orange juice of breakfast and the quality of the food.
The beach is a 3-minute walk away and has a lively boardwalk in the evenings.

While it’s understandable that march is low season, a four star hotel should have some sort of lunch available when almost everywhere else is closed.
Really noisy. The hotel has tiles on the corridors, wooden floors and paper walls and doors; you can hear the people talking in the room next to you. Housekeepers also should try to be more quite. No soundproofing at all as they mention on Booking.com.
Stayed for 2 nights. On my first morning there i asked to move to a more quiet room and they told me that i am already on the most quiet floor as they had 2 groups arriving that day. They missed the fact that i booked the day before my stay and the person in reservations told me the hotel was not busy. I know from experience that group bookings are not received overnight. They just didn’t want to move me to a more quiet room.
Friendly staff in the bar.
No water, coffee, iron in the room.

1/ Unpleasant staff, cold and contemptuous welcome (apart from the cleaning lady and the cook)
2/ They must not like the French (in this case they don't have to specify it and we will pay elsewhere)
3/Swimming pool service closed although it was indicated open. (otherwise we would have taken another hotel too)
4/ from April to June they fill the hotel with school groups so there is noise morning, noon and evening and as the rooms are poorly soundproofed you can't hear everything
5/ night light above the bedroom door which prevents you from sleeping in a dark room
6/ paid parking 18 euros per day while on the site, when you choose free parking, this hotel stands out

Hotel won't switch on the air conditioning even though in the rooms it's above 30 degrees. They keep telling me that it is because of a new Spanish law. However if you read online what the new Spanish law is, it is actually for public areas and it says hotel rooms and privates areas are exempt from this law. The hotel don't really seem to care about this or their guests. Most of the hot staff are extremely unfriendly and seem grumpy whenever you ask them anything.

Good morning, I'm staying in this hotel... arrived with a late flight and found nothing to eat (insisting given a sandwich which we paid for)
Unhelpful reception does not speak Italian, rightly you can interact in English but.....
Mediocre food
If you want to go to the swimming pool you cannot swim (prohibition sign)
If you want to drink something after 10.30 breakfast nothing and everything is closed
Poor cleaning they only make the bed but don't take away empty bottles or glasses
Even in the afternoon we tried to have a drink and we had to leave the building as the bar was closed
I would say that I don't think I will return to this hotel even if the place deserves beautiful beaches and walks
I will change hotel next time

Excellent location on foot of a wonderful beach that has all the services (including people with reduced mobility) and yet is not overcrowded. Delicious free buffet with water included. Beautiful room with enviable views of the pool and palapa.
What needs to be improved: the animation gives an unprofessional image (looking for all kinds of excuses to avoid the scheduled activities, which are not properly informed either because the panel is unreliable, and having the children coloring all the time). Worst? That this doesn't seem to matter to anyone there

We have been coming to this hotel for several years every time we come to the area because we like it a lot, but this year we have found, unfortunately, that the quality has dropped a lot. Cleaning in the room is very poor. Towels and shower gel were missing (it was used up), we had to request it on the second day because we saw that it was not an oversight. There were stains on the doors, floor and tables since we arrived the first day and they were still there days later, so it was not something specific, but rather the cleaning was carried out very thoroughly. The cleaning service is generally very poor.
In addition to cleaning, the hotel is getting older and there are many things that should be fixed or renovated. Clogged sink, very deteriorated cabinets and somewhat old or dirty common areas.
The buffet breakfast was varied and good. The restaurant in general good.
I hope they can improve thanks to the guests' opinions, because it is a great place and a very good area to spend a few days, and even a quiet vacation.

We had come to this hotel before and liked it, so we repeated this year. This time the experience has been disappointing. The rooms need updating and the sofa bed is a horror, a light switch sizzled and a cockroach appeared. I think a 4 star can not afford these details, today it does not deserve them.
