We have had the enormous pleasure of resting for three days in a beautiful and true palace, the Hotel Matutano Dauden, located in the central square of the Villa de Iglesuela del Cid, at the beginning of the Teruel master district if you arrive on the CV-15 highway from Castellón .
We have felt “at home”, since from the first moment the sincere and warm welcome from each and every one of the people who make up the hotel staff has been very pleasant, from the reception to the restaurant, including the room service, the beautiful bar, the privileged garden; We would like to highlight the kindness and professionalism of the staff at the Torre de los Nublos restaurant, which in the morning serves a complete buffet breakfast capable of delighting even the most picky eaters or the most gluttonous, with a magnificent menu for lunches and dinners. according to the environment that the stay in the main hall of this splendid 18th century building, completely restored by the Government of Aragon, conserves much of the furniture and decoration of the last private owner, Mr. Manuel Matutano Dauden.
Marga, Cielo, Gema, Hernán, Mari, Marc (and the others with whom we have been less intimate), it has been an unforgettable stay. Many thanks for everything!! We will surely return

A beautiful hotel, we booked a package with spa and breakfast included. The spa is small but has everything, the breakfast is excellent with homemade cakes and options of different types of bread and milk, very complete. The room with views of the garden is very nice. It is a very good point to explore the towns of Maestrazgo, a region that is very worthwhile.

If you visit the Maestrazgo, it is an essential stop, the palace is beautiful, and the breakfast room is spectacular, just like the breakfast.
The room is very clean and has a design in keeping with the palatial decoration.
The attention of the receptionists was impeccable, very friendly.

I have arrived with high expectations, given the opinions of other guests. What have I found?
Few amenities in the bathroom. Toilet paper rolls without supports (on the marble of the sink). Flooring in the area next to the toilet, which creaks quite a bit. And very noisy cleaning carts that say "good night" to you. And intense noises on the upper floor that say "good morning" at 8 in the morning.
The people at the reception are friendly. Breakfast, correct.
When I went to pay, they wanted to charge me 100 euros more than what was contracted in Booking. According to what they told me, "expenses had doubled."
I would not go back.

The location and charm of the place are unbeatable, as well as the attention and service of all the hotel staff. We had breakfast booked, very good and with quality local products. The first day we also ate at noon, from the menu, everything was spectacular. Without a doubt to repeat.
The only downside was that the entrance to the room, where the bathroom is, has a wooden floor and at night when you left the bedroom area, it was quite noisy, for a light sleeper, which is my case, it made It woke me up, but taking into account the characteristics of the place also gives it its personality. The rest of the things make up for this small inconvenience.

With the idea of getting to know Teruel better and resting, we went to this hotel and it was the best decision. The hotel is great, and the kitchen is the best. They treated us to cinema. The gluten-free menu is especially appreciated. The rooms, the spa and the garden are perfect to unwind. And the people, also precise. We will repeat without a doubt.

Hotel full of charm and perfect service. We stayed 2 nights in low season. The hotel is beautifully renovated. The rooms are comfortable and well heated. Cleanliness and bedding are excellent. Check-in with a glass of wine and personalized touches in the room. Luxury with spontaneous and pleasant service. Finally, the village is splendid and there are very beautiful walks in the surrounding area.

When you enter the hotel you are surprised by its wonderful staircase very well preserved.
The perfect room in every way.
The unbeatable situation, inside the old town; if we miss an identifying sign since we have not missed it.
The very good food and the person who attended us, Ivan a great Pro, attentive at all times and a charming person. We'll definitely be back.

Excellent treatment provided by the staff, always attentive and willing to our requests. We were for lunch and it was a nice contrast of feelings to be in an 18th century room while tasting the dishes of the menu -a very good value for money. And all this in the eighteenth Palace set with great taste.
