We stayed at Casale Fedele as a (slightly!) random stop off as we drove from Florence down towards Naples. Overall it was a pretty good stay. The property was easy to find, spacious and had plenty going for it. Breakfast was really good, with the coffee particularly special, there were plenty of amenities and the host was extremely friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately though there were a few things that let it down. The surrounding area wasn't great and not an area I'd visit again. The apartment we stayed in overall felt a little ramshackle. Finally, unfortunately my girlfriend didn't have a great night sleep because of random, inexplicable noises and also a mild, but bad, smell across the apartment. Overall though a good value stay and comfortable.

Great place, old building but with perfect modern infrastructure, well styled furniture and kitchens, not to forget to mention the great service: From the very first moment the family gives you the feeling being part of them, they share you all the secrets tips to visit there (Thermes, restaurants, food.....) and a really rich and tasty breakfast every single morning. The locations is lovely hidden beetween the huge hazel plantations and very central to the lakes, Viterbo, Sutri.... a train connects Ranciglione almost every hour with Rome.... Resuming, i didn't want share that beautiful secret place, but the family there asked me give recommendation here.. so.....it is really worth! Cheers...

We spent a week at Casale Fedele in September 2013 and we enjoyed our stay very much. The "Suite Etrusca" was beautifully decorated and full of natural light because of the big bedroom windows. The breakfast was good (we particularly appreciated Fabiana's home-made jam), but in terms of variety there was room for improvement. Fabiana and Francesco were very friendly and made us always feel at home. Our little dog was immediately welcomed by the entire family. The area is very nice as well, and offers plenty of outdoor activities: hiking in the woods at "La faggeta del Cimino", bathing in one of the beautiful lakes (e.g. "Lago di Vico", "Lago di Bracciano", or "Lago di Bolsena"), and visiting the beautiful medieval towns all around (apart from Ronciglione itself, also Soriano del CImino, Sutri, Calcata, Bagnaia, Caprarola, Capranica, Bracciano, Montefiascone, Vitorchiano, and of course Viterbo, the "Town of Popes", that absolutely deserves a visit).
