Some days in the morning the owners gave us slices of homemade cake. Internal parking and WIFI working. One of the best facilities in Crete. Don't recommend to stay in the largest two-bedroom apartment: one room without window, other two windows look to the Wall...; So - no sea view, no balcony or terrace, like in all - ALL other apartments of the hotel. I was looking for house - "nest", not close to the sea, however, with beautiful sea view in lovely Myrthios. The hotel and hostess were very - very nice, but we were absolutely disappointed with the "wall" view of our apartment.... it would be better to add correct information about "wall" view in the description of the large apartment.

Located on the outskirts of the elevated village of Myrthios this is a peacful place to stay. The studio apartment we stayed in was on the upper floor and shared a large terrace/balcony with wonderful views of Plakias below and nearby countryside and mountains. We only stayed one night and wished we had a schedule that allowed a longer stay. The apartment was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was very well equipped for a holiday apartment. Chrisanthi is a lovely empathetic person. Only a five minute walk to the village. We had a good lunch at the Panorama Taverna. At 35 euro a night it was a bargain. Highly recommended

Beautiful location in the small village of Myrthios , with amazing view to the bay of Plakias. Only 5 minute drive to the beach there. The place is very clean with beautiful veranda (shared for 3 rooms) facing the view. Very nice 3 taverns in the village, 5 minute walk, again with this amazing view. We stayed at Chrisanthi Apartments almost by chance. Four years ago we travelled to Crete without a reservation. On the ferry I phoned the family hotel I had chosen (Anna View) but it was fully booked. The man over the phone (Yanis Maragoudakis) told me not to worry and that they would find accommodation for us. And they really did. His mother Anna treated us with cookies and cold tea and his sister Errie took us to Chrisanthi Apartments....This was and still is the unique and unmatched Cretan hospitality you would rarely find elsewhere ... We liked so much the location, the view of the sea and the Kourtaliotiki gorge , the garden, apartments, our hosts etc. that this year when we planned our trip we decided to check first at Chrisanthi's. She replied immediately that there was one apartment for us and ....here we go! Crete (Myrthios) revisited, Y2013! We arrived late in the afternoon, around 5.30 p.m., but Chrisanthi and her husband were waiting for us, helped us with the luggage, had left a welcome drink of juice and beers in the fridge ....The garden had become even more beautiful, it was lush and green because of the watering system of hoses and Chrisanthi had planted more vegetation, there were benches, sunbeds....and tranquility, silence and relax....You can even see goats grazing on the rocks above the house.... All other people (Germans mostly) staying at Chrisanthi's at that time behaved very well - I mean they made no noise at all, as that is what you usually encounter in big hotels.... Besides, everything is immaculately clean and tidy - you just can't believe it !- And it stays so, because Chrisanthi cleans every single day, even though we stayed only two days! I sincerely recommend this wonderful family hotel - the service is great at an affordable price. There is a parking lot if you come by car. The famous taverns of Myrthios are within walking distance... We have found that by far this is the best place for relax that money can buy! You can sit on the bench facing Plakias bay, with the palm tree over your head, sip your drink and melt away with the sunset... See you next year, Chrisanthi!

Every year it's like the first time, Chrisanthi takes care of us as if we were family members. The apartments are really beautiful, spacious, comfortable and excellent cleaning. The view is exceptional, perhaps one of the best on the island and great location for excursions all over the island.

We arrived at Chrisanthi nearly by chance in August 2012. We liked the place so much that we came back in 2013. Mirthios is a small village just over Plakias, but it is the ideal location for doing many things, from swimming in Souda, in Plakias and in the other many beautiful beaches, or trekking in the gorges (try Imbros Gorge: shorter than Samaria, but very very beautiful), or trying some good restaurant nearby. At Chrisanthi, we found an ideal base for exploring a region with a fascinating history and culture (give a look to Frangokastello). The place is very clean, and the owners are very kind. I especially liked to spend my time on the terrace overlooking the Libyan sea: a never-ending performance! All in all, a very pleasant stay.
