From the airport it takes about 1.5 hours by transfer. Welcomed at the hotel with a welcome drink. Staff is very friendly. The room was tidy and cleaned every day, the towels are changed every 2 days. Air conditioning is included in the price. You can rent towels at the pool for 0.90 cents each. The swimming pool is really lovely and the view from the terrace is fantastic over the sea and Plakias below. The bar is very basic and is serviced by the reception staff. A beer comes from a can, just like all other drinks. Breakfast is fine, enough choice. The hotel no longer has a restaurant, it seems to have been closed for several years. There is nothing to do outside the pool. However, it is a great base to visit beautiful beaches. You have to rent a car for this, otherwise you won't get anywhere. Parking costs 6 euros per day at the hotel, but you can also park for free just outside. Within walking distance (5-10 minutes) you will find 4 restaurants with delicious Greek dishes. This is the perfect place for a quiet, relaxing holiday!

One of the most beautiful, relaxing with breathtaking views boutique hotel I’ve ever stayed.....
Our room, well more like a big apartment was fabulous, we have been spoiled with two beautiful sea views terraces. Due to corona virus restaurant was closed but daily delivered to door breakfast was very nice.... I be back when things get back to normal in order to admire view from your onsite restaurant Stefanos village 😊Thank you 10/10

We love this place and have been there already several times. Unfortunately the service is getting worse. We stayed 5 nights, but got not even one cleaning because of Corona protection. Maybe they just need to save money, what we completely understand in this difficult period. But whenever you ask something, the owners show that you are disturbing them. E.g. we got only one role of toilet paper and when we asked for it at 10.05 pm they told us that the reception is closed at 10pm (but we came home late and did not expect that they do not bring more, when they know we are staying 5 nights)… However, it is still really worth going there if you can handle that. In the past I think the Father was the owner and really nice, they also had wonderful dinner with an amazing view and Nikos, a great and absolutely friendly waiter & barkeeper.

First of all, NEVER pay until you see, and check out the room
We have stayed in this place several times in the last few years
Unfortunately, the place has turned from one of the best places that were in the area, to a very bad place.
We stayed at the place for almost a month.
The maintenance of the place, is poor, broken chairs, torn sun beds, inactive sun umbrellas, the place is not as clean as it used to be.
Our apartment had a musty smell that did not go away, the closet in the shower crumbled (probably from moisture) there was no strong water flow and there was almost no hot water in the morning.
The kitchen did not have any kitchen utensils and we had to ask for basic things and buy some.
The refrigerator door got stuck in the floor and we had to put a stone under the refrigerator to balance it.
There was an inactive hot tub on the balcony, which took up half a balcony space and we received a different answer from each hotel representative regarding its operation.
The hosts have their own pace, slow and not serviceable.
The poor excuse for all our questions and requests was "Corona" which did not really work out with the problems we presented ...
The place does not appear to have a manager present.
There are so many good places in Plakias, it's a waste of time, money and aggravation.
Stay Away.

Do not come with your children. My 9-year-old son could not walk alone in the hotel garden.
The director came to me during our breakfast to tell me that it was impossible to let the children circulate alone.
And that he sent my son back to the room.
I understand very well that children cannot go alone to the pool, but from there prohibit them from walking in the garden. This is inconceivable. So avoid coming with children, I doubt that younger children are better welcomed! Otherwise you should lock them in your suite during the stay or avoid the establishment to the maximum. That’s what we did, horrible...

This place was probably great years ago but it has gone bad and no renovation has been done. It's a real pity because it could be a fabulous 4star hotel if the staff and owners were willing to put more effort.
The breakfast was the worst I ever had. We had fresh orange juice every where in Crete except in this 4star hotel where they serve industrial juice. They don't even ask if you want a cappucino or latte.. There's a machine which literally serves dirty water as coffee. The food no comment.. Bread seemed old, cake was dried out, eggs were no good. We were very very disappointed.
The rooms are spacious but the bed must be like 20 years old so comfort wise it's a 0.
Don't get charmed by website fotos.. The only nice thing is really the view.

+1
Definitely inadequate room for a 4 star, old bathroom, ruined furniture, bathtub with cracks and stains, non-existent terrace, sun loungers could not open for lack of space. The Jacuzzi on our arrival did not work, someone had previously made the hydro with sunscreen on the skin. It was repaired the next day, but when they did the water change it was overfilled and when we entered it the balcony flooded completely. To reward the panoramic view, but I would urgently redo the bathrooms, otherwise the disproportionate cost to Crete makes no sense.

the most horrible experience, in a dirty place, old and non-functional furniture, execrable breakfast, the pictures have nothing in common with the reality. Whoever put more than 2 stars, I think they don't know what a 4-star hotel means or they are just friends. Be careful, they charge you double and from what I read we are not the only ones. Absolutely miserable place run by a disgusting character Vasilis

Visit during middle of September so hotel trying to run during difficult period. No restaurant bar daily cleaning etc but just above myrthos so not really a problem. Organised quite good breakfast in room. Lovely position with great views. Infinity pool open but it's exposed to sun snd wind .so I suspect bracing all year round. Apartments are spacious but rather dated in fitting and furniture.

The breathtaking view, the simple but well designed architecture and the wonderful bed made this place an unforgettable stay. The staff is very friendly and formal. Breakfast can not be review: due to COVID was deliver in the room and it was very poor. I’m confident it is usually on a very high standard.
