Last year we spend our honey moon in this happy and quiet house.Nice beaches and woods and excellent food. There are also a lot of animals in the farm (including an enormous howl!) Unforgetable and thanks for your kind welcome. The breakfast are great :)

This family-run place is ideal for agriturismo. Rooms are authentic, food tastes delicious and they have lots of farmhouse animals. Both sea, mountain and woods are right next door. All in all very peaceful and relaxing destination.

Our room was on the top floor with a small balcony to view the sheep and emu in the pasture nearby on the property. The bed was comfortable, room clean and bathroom modern though roof beams meant one had to watch his/her head. Our hosts were warm and helpful with excursion ideas. The breakfast was exceptional with good coffee, and Maria made delicious cake along with an assortment of breads, jam, juice, fresh fruit and vine-ripened tomatoes from their organic garden. Yum. Highly recommended with a few warnings/negatives. The driveway leading down from the road is very steep. If coming from the direction of Guernica, make a very wide turn to head straight down. Earplugs would be useful as there are roosters on the property and noise from the road. We were also dismayed that there was an additional charge should we use the kitchen. We had evening picnics outside and felt unnecessary stress about using our hosts silverware, corkscrew, etc. Our friends were placed next door to us in a small room with no windows. They had a skylight that opened but had to be closed when it rained that night so it was very stuffy. They were moved to a room on a lower floor the 2nd night which they were quite happy with.

This place is just amazing. We wanted to stay in a traditional rural house for a couple of nights that we could use as a base to explore the area (either sea or countryside) and be able to relax after the day, and Urresti is just perfect for that. Maria and Joshua are incredibly attentive and friendly hosts (it was basically like staying with your auntie, the one that cooks incredibly good :) ); the breakfast she prepares is just awesome (not included in the price but totally worth it), very nicely served and she made a cake for it everyday. The house and the rooms are beautiful and they have a BBQ area that we put to good use with two huge Chuletones. We even had the chance to hold an eagle in our arm! An incredible stay and absolutely recommendable. Thanks Maria and your family for everything!! Useful info: the entrance pathway to the house from the main road is quite steep so if you are driving on the main road and turning right to get in it or driving at night time, be sure you do it very slowly and giving yourself enough angle!

Stayed here in 2006 and was recently thinking about how beautiful it was. Found it on here and will be returning very soon hopefully. Amazing surroundings and homely atmosphere, lovely place to stay and relax with easy road routes to the surrounding beaches and small villages near by
