The location right on the mountain is great. However, there seemed to be a sewage problem and the lobby and rooms smelled like a barn. Owner is very kind and thoughtful and everything is clean and neat, albeit a bit tired.

Great location. Local restaurant. Children’s options available and local dishes. All meals purchased were lovely. Great service and reasonably priced. We ordered steaks, salads and a dish similar to racklette

Visited Les Bernard's in July with a team of 40 cyclists preparing for l'etape du Tour. Facility on great location close to different climbs in the area. About 12km outside Mègeve village though. Friendly staff, basic French breakfast. Rooms expectable, but not spectacular.

This lovely chalet style hotel sits in the breathtaking surroundings of the Haut Val d'Arly valley. I think this had to be the hardest cycle climb of the day with a lot of weary legs! We had an underground garage to store our bikes, parking area is large and can fit many vehicles. We were shown to our rooms by the owners wife (not the friendliest of folk but went about her work in a professional manner) Rooms were clean and comfortable and in a very quiet location to the side of the main hotel. En suite bathroom was good if a little basic but that was fine. Sat in the bar area for pre dinner drinks also good and comfortable. We had Raclette for dinner which was delicious - a good dinning experience but limited choice did go to bed feeling hungry. Breakfast was a self service continental style - quite basic but very filling. I would return to the hotel for a skiing holiday as the lifts are on site and accomodation is reasonably priced!
