Anezina Village has been our favourite destination for our summer vacations for over 8 years. Mrs Maria and the staff have been doing an excellent job! The traditional village houses are spacious, fully equipped, with large verandas/gardens. The resort offers cooking lessons and a live Greek music event with a rich buffet and complimentary drinks every Monday night at reasonable prices. The staff is experienced, professional and friendly. Exemplary hospitality overall in good prices.

Excellent location in the tranquil Dryos, a couple of minutes from the beach and St John Theologian's Church. There is a public bus stop next to the pharmacy and the Anousakis Super market that are located next door, offering a rich variety of international products and excellent service.

You will come again!

We booked the Anezina via RCI for the second phase of our honeymoon. We did notify them of this in advance but no one congratulated us which I felt was disappointing.
Notwithstanding this the staff were all super friendly in particular Maria and the gentleman who picked us up and dropped us off at the port.

The one bedroom apartment was lovely. We were located right on the end of the complex, upstairs. It was very clean and kept that way throughout. The kitchen was a nice to have although we couldn’t find anything to put food in to warm it up in the oven? The terrace was of a good size and gave us views of the beautiful Aegean Sea.

We struggled a little bit to start with trying to keep the bedroom cool at night as the air con unit is in the main kitchen, living room. There was a freestanding fan provided in the bedroom but it was a little noisy. On about night three we realised the best policy was to leave both of the windows partly open in the bedroom and the doors open throughout the apartment allowing a breeze to slip through.

Up to date modern double glazing is fitted with patio doors in both the bedroom and living room. Because it sleeps four with two people in the living area there is no real settee as such to relax on only the two beds which was a slight negative for us.

The village is beautifully laid out with flora in abundance and a nice pool area to relax around. We happily walked to Dryos beach and then along the coastal path to Golden Beach, the best on the island in our opinion.
Reception staff assisted us in car hire for a couple of days so we could explore further afield although there is a bus stop just outside. The car was delivered to us which was a nice touch. There is also a really good supermarket and atm literally around the corner.
Really friendly vibe with great Greek night on Monday evening and Maria’s cookery classes were very popular!

A rustic style, very spacious apartment where we spent 3 nights. It was comfortable and airy and we were regularly joined by some of the stray cats that knew they were very welcome! Outdoor space back and front - but sadly too cold for us to enjoy during our stay.

The only request is that perhaps someone can straighten out the shelf in the bathroom as it was quite a challenge to keep everything upright and in place :D (see photo)

The buffet breakfast selection was quite limited and often depleted by the time we went to the restaurant area to eat. But Marina was always there to welcome you with a smile and to offer some delicious cooked options (scrambled eggs with feta and tomato was perfect) and would go out of her way to make sure you had what you wanted, sneaking us some baklava from the kitchen when the morning's cake offering had long been finished. It's often the people that make a difference to a stay anywhere so a big thanks to Marina who did just that :)

Stayed here for a few nights as part of a group trip. The group were split up with some of us staying in the main block and others in separate apartments in the grounds and there was a big difference in experiences.
The room I had in the main block appeared to be one large family apartment which had been split into two and I was basically sleeping on a single bed with no headboard in the kitchen area which was a little weird. However I did have a large balcony area which looked over towards the sea. Some of the group had rooms facing the main road through the village which was noisy. I would therefore check when booking.
There was also a wedding there one evening which meant we weren't allowed to use the pool and garden area one afternoon and evening.
There is a small supermarket next door and a bus stop that takes you to other towns/villages. There isn't anything else here apart from a pebbly beach around a 10 min walk away and a couple of restaurants.
Breakfast was also a bit of a challenge as they did do cooked breakfasts such as fried eggs, scrambled eggs and bacon etc but didn't seem to offer them as a choice, you had to ask. I did have a very tasty omelette on the last morning once we realised how it worked and I guess they were trying to find their way through the covid rules and would normally have provided more of a buffet rather than table service.
Overall therefore I had a mixed experience here and think a few days was enough.

Stayed here for 8 nights in may and we have travelled a lot in our time.
It was the first time in years I walked into a hotel room and was pretty stunned.
We had room number 6 upstairs above the bar and honestly we had the biggest terrace over looking the pool and mountains, which was incredible.
Very comfy large double bed, fresh towels and bedding every second day.
The pool bar area is open daily from 11am to 11pm with very reasonable priced items.
Mostly a couples hotel but there was one French family there with 3 children, very well behaved and not to noisy.
Every staff member are very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is served at an additional cost.
Couple minutes walk from the beach and restaurants.
There is a mini mart across the road, be warned they try to charge you more than the ticketed price as a tourist. I would go elsewhere.
Also Uae the public bus system, 2€ each way to thira and takes approx 30 minutes and there’s a busy every 15-20 mins.
Would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is something else. Not in a flash, extravagant way but if you want a traditional Greek experience then try here. The breakfast was a treat as it was all home made with no plastic wrappings in site. Just good food and friendly staff. There is a supermarket next door and the food was so good at the hotel we ate there both nights! Such a treat.
A walk to the beach but worth it.

We stayed here for a week in November, the last week before they closed for the season. The grounds are well maintained and refreshingly quite. We loved the resident cats.
The rooms were clean and the set up was good, we had an amazing marble balcony. The place was well equipped and spacious. Sheets were crisp and they provided plenty of blankets. The mattresses were not the most comfortable, a bit hard.

Wi-Fi is not good in the rooms so just be prepared to use data.

Hot water and pressure was great sometimes and nonexistent at others.

As we were at the end of the season so i am assuming that is why the cute on-site restaurant was very limited.

Read carefully about all fees above and beyond the original cost to stay, plus “resort” fee” plus Use of utility fees per day fee, it adds up especially when there were times we didn’t have water pressure or hot water.

Staff was friendly and responsive.

All in all this place was great, beautiful rooms and property! Just a few glitches that we worked around.

I stayed here 6 years ago and purchased a block of time to be used in the future. When I realized how much time had past and that it was going to expire, I was able to find an email online to connect with. Since I had moved a few times I lost any associated paperwork and figured that time block was lost. But within 24 hours Maria contacted me with a scanned copy of my paperwork and date availability - she was amazingly organized and thoughtful! I chose my week and she helped me schedule a driver to pick me up at the ferry port at 11 pm no less! When I arrived she poured me a glass of wine and told me to relax and we could go over the paperwork in the morning while a staff member took my luggage to my room. The room was huge and gorgeous. Also, the food was delcious and so affordable. When I think of hotel food in America, it's basically the last resort when you're tired and everything is closed. At Anezia Village the food was amazing and fresh and I would have gone out of my way to eat there even if we had not been staying there. You can eat in the dining room or have it in your hotel room/suite. I really can't stress enough how kind everyone was, it felt like I could immediately relax and feel at home there and am so grateful to Maria and the rest of the staff.

Would highly recommend!! Lovely atmosphere with very friendly, funny and helpful staff. Had a hilarious evening doing the group cooking class (€50 p/person), staff and guests all got stuck in. Greek Night buffet was yummy and live music was a bonus (€30 p/person). Rooms very spacious.

Lots of restaurant options nearby (recommend The Green Project for dinner). 6min walk to quiet Drios beach. 25min walk to bigger Golden Beach (recommend The Beach Project for lunch). Cheap and reliable bus service around the island for those not driving!

This hotel is badly in need of maintenance Despite being asked for single beds we were given a double room. The toilet would not stop flushing and was noisy..On the whole the staff were welcoming, except for the the staff member who stood by the dining room door and smoked every morning.
