We went there for a weekend. We stayed at Meerkat Manor. It is really unique especially the setup of the tree house. Very clean and modern inside! The braai place was awesome, the caretaker is very helpful in assisting with starting a fire and making us feel at home. Th splash pool was great, would be even better if it had an option of being heated :)

I would come back here to escape the city and it’s not too far off from JHB.

Luara is an awesome place!

We as a family enjoyed it a lot. Natasha was a great host and all accomodations have a lot of spirit and atmosphere.
We stayed in the bushbabies nest what is very special.
for a farm that is not so big for RSA standards they have lot of animals to spot.

Regards
rainer

What an amazing spot! We were in the bush baby accommodation. The structure is absolutely stunning. Very private, and away from the other accomodations. View looking out over wildlife grazing. Fully equipped with everything you need. Abel was very nice and helpful. Only a 15 min drive from the Marakele NP gate.

Vlakbij Marakele national park.

Excellent facility, lovely hosts and nice private reserve to chill far away from crowded cities...
Thabazimbi and a small shop are not far away nur especially Marakele National Park is just a short drive away.
From Germany it's a long trip but if we will visit SA again, we will come to visit Ana and her family again definitively!

What a amazing place in Thabazimbi. Only 2 hours drive from Pretoria and a gem. Stayed in the tent camp but it was more luxurious than some hotel rooms. Everything from bathroom to beds to linen to pillows was the best. Tents are cosy and clean. Staff friendly and Ana, the host was amazing. Baked us cupcakes for our 23 year anniversary. Soo Sweet. Drove around and saw a lot of animals, Nyala's, Giraffes, Blesbuck Wildebeest, Buffalo, Oryx, Zebra and lots of warthogs. Farm so clean and roads lovely to drive on. Kitchen was well stocked with pots etc. Cleaning staff friendly and helpfull. Enjoyed every second and we will be back. Can definitely recommend this to anyone.
