OK, so the weather wasn't the fault of the hotel. It was 30C+ outside all day and as the rooms have not air conditioning, it made for a very uncomfortable night's sleep. That said, the rooms were good sized, clean and fairly modern. The bathroom was quite small but the selection of toiletries reasonable for a hotel of this price. The corridors were rather dark and foreboding. The reception is not 24 hour so if you are arriving late, you will need to arrange some way of picking up the keys. The main gripe, however, was the propensity for people to sit in the downstairs reception area smoking. This made the whole guest house smell of old smoke, yuk!

We had a room in the second floor with balcony at the backside of the hotel. Therefore it has been quiet and a nice view. For our taste the cushions were too soft, but other guests may like it that way. Had to carry our luggage ourselves, at our age ( 70 plus ) a bit unconvenient.

Not so bad hotel, but WIFI almost not working and main problem is restaurant: breakfast from warm meal only boiled eggs available, during lunch and dinner time restaurant fully occupied by local people and very hard to get seat, restaurant staff doesn't understand English. For that reason I'm found 300m away hotel Engel with restaurant, where seats has been available any time. Next visit will be stay there! And one more- I'm booked comfort room, but got standard with less area.
