The room itself was very tastefully decorated. However, on arrival we were not welcomed by friendliness. The room was further infested with ants. There were trails of ants everywhere- In the bath, in and on the loo, around the basin and even on the bed!!! But the biggest horror was making coffee, only to find that the kettle was completed full of ants. This was a very gross experience, and if management knows they have an ant problem, necessary steps should be taken to control the situation. Furthermore, it was difficult to reach anyone of the staff at any point. This could be a stunning place if there is more attention to detail.

Had a lovely stay at Bullfrogs Nest. The host Zani was very kind and pleasant. Lovely rooms. Enjoyed the stay. Very comfortable and beautiful environment. Will definitely come again. Rooms are beautiful and stockes up with premium coffee and tea. Woolworths milk. I will definitely recommend staying here. The dogs are also a delight.

Peaceful and quiet surroundings. The birdsong we heard when we woke up added to the tranquility. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and loved all the rose petals, candles, champagne, chocolate and fruit provided by Zani and her team. Excellent bed and bedding!

After your stay be prepared te receive rediculous claims for "damages" Even dirty linnen as per claims must be replaced at HUGE cost. After traveling the world, this was a shocking first. Check every item for the least of imperfection. If not you will receive all sirts iof claims. The proprietors even tries to harras you by trying to access your social media accounts.

Stayed in one of the self-catering cottages which has an upstairs. It is well fitted out and charming. One thing to be noted is that the 2 bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom, downstairs. Not a problem for the young and able bodied. However, not suitable if one has a problem climbing stairs. There are rooms with bathroom , all on ground level. The maids who popped in at the end of the day to fix the bedrooms were a joy as they were so happy and sparkling. They were gone within 5 minutes but were like a breath of fresh air . The owner , Jan and his wife were charming and friendly, even to the extent of helping us with our flat tyre. We loved seeing and learning about the alpacas on the farm , however, the farm smell is strong until one gets accustomed to it . This is not a place with activities. It is a peaceful farm. Good if you want a quiet rest or for staying overnight , as we did.
