We were so pleased to be back with the team at Elephant Rock. Rene always efficient, the chef and all the other staff looking after us so well and Steve managing everything. The views, and sunrise over the dam are wonderful. Stephanie our guide, is the best on the reserve we think, her knowledge and the way she imparts it to her guests is amazing. The love and respect she has for all the animals and birds teaches us how to behave around them and, of course, her driving skills are second to none! A big thank you to everyone from the three of us, we hope to be back next year.

Very friendly, lovely environment, great service and plenty of delicious food - what's not to like about Elephant Rock Lodge. Game drives informative, great fun and some wonderful scenary - not forgetting the game. The roads have taken a bit of a hammering from the rain.but the atmospere and experince of a smaller lodge more than made up for it. Highly recommended.

We have been to the Reserve before but found this particular lodge very relaxing and friendly and hands on staff were amazing. We had a wonderful 2 day stay. We loved the chalet it had everything you could possibly need and more. Great idea for the outside shower. The viewing deck overlooking the little dam was super surprise.

Had an amazing 3 days here , our first visit following a recommendation. Room 2 was excellent swings on verandah with a view over dam, I understand the view is better from room3 and 4. The whole team is attentive but not obtrusive. Our guide Keegan was very knowledgeable and was keen to satisfy all our needs as regards animal sightings. We all want to see the big5 but it’s not always possible, 4/5 was great and the cheetah sighting on our last day made up for not seeing leopard. Keegan is still a platinum guide 👍. All lodge staff were amazing always friendly and happy to help. Food was fabulous at all meals. Thanks again to Steph, Steve, Keegan, Stacey and all lodge staff for a wonderful stay.
