We had a quick lunch at Paternoster Lodge with family from the UK. The service was friendly and efficient. The calamari was absolutely excellent: tender and tasty The huge windows make you feel part of the outdoors while you are protected from the wind. O and the view, the view!!!

We had a businnes strategic session at Paternoster Lodge. The service was excellent, food was great and the overall experience was more than expected. Rooms were large, clean and had great facilities. Definitely a place to consider to come back to with my family.

The room was clean and bed and pillows were good, but that was where it ended. I requested a cot and additional bed in the family room that I had booked. When we arrived on Christmas day, this was not in our room!! We then had to find a place for our boys to sleep on Christmas night. Then, our room (7) was on the main street. We hardly slept with the noise from cars and people in the street. Breakfast takes about 1 hour to get your food. Overall, not a pleasant experience, would not stay here again.

Paternoster was very busy on a summer Sunday, but we managed to find a table here. The food was perfect for the occasion: a simple menu, very well cooked and cheerfully served. The atmosphere was cheerful, with families eating and friendly efficient service. We were indoors, but open to the outside with a quite stunning view over the bay.
