Booked an overnight stay in the beautiful seaside town of Paternoster at Smugglers Inn,a gorgeous cottage style house. Stylishly but cozily furnished. We felt very welcome and very much at home. Beautiful clean rooms with crisp white clean linen, towels (was give beach towels in a cute beach bag) The room meets ones every needs, a fridge stocked with water, wine, Juices etc for purchase, tea coffee facilities, a hairdryer and Ghd, TV with all channels. View of the ocean from the shower. There is a path way about 200m to the a stunning beach..Also a lovely pool area.3 other guests shared the house but not intrusive to each other. Two cosy fire places add to the ambiance..Close enough but not in the hectic tourist part of Paternoster....

This is probably by far my favourite place to stay in Paternoster. It’s such excellent value for money, being it’s own little Grecian-like Paradise, so clean, incredible service, safe, delicious inclusive breakfast options to choose from, a minute stroll onto the beach, a 5 minute walk to the Wharf, and all the necessary amenities in the very comfortable, luxurious rooms. I would highly recommend staying here!

We enjoyed a very comfortable, relaxing stay in the Swallow’s Loft room, a stones throw from the gorgeous beach! Excellent hospitality from AnSue who managed the accommodation. We loved relaxing by the pool and were treated to fruit, yoghurt, muesli with eggs for breakfast each morning. Looking forward to returning to this lovely Bn’B in the future.

Ansu from the neighboring guest house was gracious enough to rescue my aunt and me when I fouled up a booking on the long weekend. She went way beyond the call of duty to accommodate us in this stunning little cottage. It is well appointed and cozy to the enth degree. We had high hopes of spending 4 nights but we were not so lucky. The place was in high demand and we had to relocate to another charming self-catering place on the other side of the resort.
Breakfast is part of the package and the only downside is that Smugglers is NOT a self-catering cottage. Still, it is a lovely place to chill.

We enjoyed the stay very much. The room was cozy, clean, the bed was very comfortable and the place is 2min walking to the beach. We had breakfast included and it was delicious (yogurt with fruits and granola, omelette with vegetables and bacon, toast with Marmelade & butter).
Only 2 point is to improve - we couldn’t close the window in the bathroom. Since the room is ground floor, it would be better to close it when being away. Nevertheless, the window was very small and had a plastic protection. And secondly, the door had just a regular lock, the other two locks were inactive.

This is the second time we have been to Smugglers and as always we enjoyed it very much. The rooms are lovingly decorated with small details. Breakfast is freshly prepared in the morning with egg dishes, yogurt and fresh fruit. We booked Marissa from the Day Spa Healing Touch for a relaxing massage, which we were able to enjoy by the pool. Successful stay!

We were warmly welcomed and extensively introduced to the Cottage by a very friendly lady. We enjoyed our one night stay to the max.
Allow one small critical comment: Access to stable Wifi–internet has become THE absolute necessity for tourists. Unfortunately the current Wifi–networks available at the cottage do not offer the quality expected.

This cottage is located in the beautiful fishing village of Paternoster. The cottage is located in a quieter part of the village still near to all that matters in Paternoster. It is very private , beautifully furnished. Ansu is the perfect host who makes sure that everything is comfortable and convenient so that you can have the most wonderful vacation time. The cottage is spacious , bathroom facilities is perfect and the breakfast very tasty. The long open beach is walking distance from the cottage. Don't forget to make the sunset part of the closing of your day.

Very friendly staff. Our dogs were very welcome and we had a very comfortable stay. Just be mindful of other guests if your dogs are noisy and also bring their beds. Our room was comfortable, clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast was great. The beach and nice coastal walk are 2 minutes away.
