As always Arnold and Annalise ( my banter peer) make sure you feel right at home when arriving in their wonderful guest house . Make sure you book for the chef's table on some nights of the week ....foodie heaven. They have their own house wine you really should try ! You don't even have to book your diners ; Arnold takes care of everything for you . Deserted beaches , friends and good food is what this place is all about .

The accommodation was very good but it was the food that lifted this fabulous place into another level. A five star hotel would deliver the culinary delights and Arnold either at dinner (residents only) or breakfast. This is a jewel of a place for anyone who loves food, the sea, the sand and the wilderness. And really great food! We absolutely loved our stay of three nights.

There is nothing to complain. Location is good, so close the beach. Walking distance to many restaurants. Nice sea view terrace. Good parking space. Room was lovely and practical. Breakfast was both mornings really great. First of all, very tasty. And then, the atmosphere with nice conversation with other guests. Arnold and Annelise know the area (and beyond), so often they knew what we will need next - and had already found the solution - like we had not thought in advance our dinners. We had though that as sea is so cold, this probably would be our only visit to Paternoster. No - we will return!

This is a delightful little gem. We like going to places which are owner managed and Ah! most certainly did not disappoint. Arnold and Analise are outstanding - you can tell they love what they do and are (very understandably) proud of their offerings. We sadly only stayed one night which was a Tuesday and never having been Paternoster, did not know that a lot of the good restaurants are not open on Tuesday nights. Arnold had taken it upon himself to book us in to a most fabulous restaurant just around the corner from them. Their rooms are beautifully decorated and have everything you could wish for - fresh milk in the fridge for your tea/coffee, wickedly delicious biscuits, some washing powder, plentiful high end shampoos, lotions, soaps, etc. The beds are wonderfully

A huge thank you to owners and hosts Arnold & Analise for making us so welcome. Your hospitality & cooking is second to none. It was a delight to eat breakfast every morning and your legendary evening meal was simply outstanding. We are professional aviation managers and ex Media personnel. Therefore, we travel the world for a living. The welcome, service and cleanliness of this charming guest house in Paternoster was exceptional. Thank you to Arnold & Analise. We look forward to returning and appreciated your kind advice on local eateries. Also, thank you for making reservations at favourite restaurants. A first class service, establishment and village.
