    Santa Cruz Village Hotel, is located in the heart of Santa Cruz city, about 2 minutes from Madeira International Airport and 15 minutes from Funchal. Fully renovated in 2017, this is a typical city hotel, close to all historical, cultural and leasure facilities. About 50 meters from the historical quarter and Sea promenade. The hotel is located where there was an old sugar cane mill, keeping the original Madeiran Arquitecture. This offers to it’s guest’s a cozy atmosphere in order to make a relaxing and enjoyable stay to all guests. It has 40 rooms, divided in Standard’s; Superior; and Junior Suite.

    Great stay, lovely personnel
    The style is very clean and trendy. Lots of particulars say that there is a special care. At the entrance there is an impressive 3D map of the Island on the floor. It is just the start of your trip. They suggest you how to move in Madeira and reveal where the real hot spots are. Next to the Gym there is a small nice cave with flowers where you can relax a little. The swimming pool area is very well organized with an efficient bar to get fresh drinks. In the evening they organize a barbecue there. The personnel is absolutely lovely and supportive We have been there twice and always helped in a very proactive way. Very comprehensive when we missed the connection flight. They opened the breakfast room at 5 am only for us! What can I say more ... highly recommended. …

    Fantastic hotel! The bad reviews are old.
    I've never written a hotel review before, but felt bad that they have this lowish rating, based on the pre-renovations hotel. These days the place is spotless, the staff are all excellent, it is great value and we had a wonderful stay. Next time we come to Madeira, we will certainly return to the same hotel. I can't fault it.…

    This our fourth time here . It as been totally refurbished since last visit . Staff are friendly as always can not help enough and efficient. Buffet breakfast with a good selection, convenient for village and bus routes hotel also have a mini bus to take you to Funchal for same cost as bus and quicker. Room are comfortable kettle on request.good pool area and no need to towel your sun bed . Cost is value for money. 15 minutes from airport planes landing are no problem. Motorway close but noise level low .…

    Loveley hotel
    We arrived at the hotel check in was very smooth and staff were very freindly .the room was loveley and very spacious .we realised that there wasnt a kettle in the room so asked at reception and the following day a kettle was in our room .the staff in the dining room were really freindly and they were on hand at all times if we needed anything .sean on reception was very freindly and went out of his way to make us feel very welcome and gave us a map of the island .the breakfast was good and the small pool was cleaned every day .there wasnt too many sunbeds but there was always a sunbed and no towels left on to reserve sunbeds i couldnt believe it !!!.this hotel is very well run has loveley staff and i will definitley will be returning .every weekend in june they have festivals on our first night just 5 mins away from our hotel there was a music festival in the square with food stalls and the bbq chicken was amazing .one of the best holidays weve had from the hotel ,to santa cruz itself and the amazing food in the little bars and restraunts .Truly amazing holiday…

    Hello we have wifi all over the hotel. a transfer from the airport costs about 10 euros. but we may collect you with our bus deppending availability.
